I doubt the game is unplayable and feel yours, and all the others who whine here are grossly exaggerating. This is what happens on a PVP server. What you are describing as a fair balance of pvp and pve only happens on PVE servers.
Best solo pvp class in the game says no problems with PvP in the game. More @ 6.
