Its insane that they HAD THIS BEFORE and dropped it in favor of the hamster wheel approach they use now, simply because a certain dev or two insanely hates non raidloggers.

Yeah they are officially rewarding weapons now IF you do the prerequisite quests.
First you need to do the Jiro quests starting with Broken Circle but you need Altonian Understanding from the Cypher Research to talk to them.
Then you need to get a drop called Resonating Disc and turn it in to Olea Manu outside at Faith’s Repose FP(Firim’s cave). Olea Manu also sells some items for additional Cyphers including an item that increases Cypher drops by 50%.

Sure, if you manage to get one of the weapon quest. I’ve been waiting all week and still no cypher weapon quest. Typical Blizzard. And they wonder why everyone is leaving
Just to verify, you’ve unlocked and done the prerequisite devourer side-quests and then had the little gizmo drop that you take back to unlock cypher weapons as a possible reward?
(I ask because there have been several weapon-rewarding quests up this week)
