https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/4877327788 I know bud, found this forum post. Sucks.
Assuming they remain open, Bum, they always get replied to, but when we have a lot of tickets in queue the response times are a bit longer than we’d like.
As for your issue, it isn’t entirely clear in your tickets but it sounds like you are claiming you had a code that was supposed to give you 14 days of game time? I’m afraid we don’t have those. The only thing we did have that was similar are the old Trial World of Warcraft codes that would allow someone to create a trial account and play for 14 days. We don’t have those kinds of trial accounts anymore. We now have Starter Edition accounts, that allow a user to play for as long as they like, with certain restrictions like a level 20 cap.
By redeeming those old codes you would have added a Starter Edition license to your Battle.net account it wouldn’t add 14 days of game time to an existing account. I do see one was redeemed on an old WoW account (not entirely certain how that was possible) and a new WoW#3 license was created.
You’ll need to add a subscription or purchase game time for your existing account.
If you want to remove your Starter Edition accounts you can use our automated process here.
Edit: Well, looks like everyone figured it out while I was responding. I meant to hit post earlier but I was checking into a few things and got distracted.
How do you even get into a live chat or callback?! I can’t find anything like that and cant get help with my issue by other means I have tried
Those two options are only for Billing and Tech support issues.
So if you’re not seeing that option, it’s likely not a billing or tech support problem.
What issue are you having?
As Perl mentioned, it often is determined by the type of issue you are trying to get help with. Many Billing and Technical issues have the callback or live chat option available (though that isn’t guaranteed and is subject to availability).
Live Chat is definitely not intended for questions you may have about quests. The Not Listed Here option is intended for those Account or Technical situations that we may not have a specific category listed (i.e. new or rare issues).
As for your issue… The current highest rated comment of the quest you were referring to should pretty much cover it.
And I believe you’ll need to return to Tiragarde Sound and speak with Shadow Hunter Ty’jin
I hope that helps, please close your web chat.
