Customer Service cannot help you with anything?

I just want to be clear about Customer Service and my recent request for help. They can’t help you with ANY REWARD items you never received - right? So you do some long marathon quest and the item (s) fails to appear for whatever reason. You contact (not sure why this CS is even there) CS and report in game issue so they can fix it. BUT they CANNOT help you. SO any time you do any sort of quest or raid or whatever and you don’t get the reward - that’s too bad right? CS also does not report bugs - as told to me by the CS person. Players need to go to some link and report the bug. WHAT is the point of CS?

Because it’s a bug. GMs cannot navigate around bugs and cannot award what the current coding does not allow for.

You need to report it as a bug and then it’s put into a list and addressed depending on seriousness of said bug. Developers fix bugs. Not Customer Support.

To help with the myriad of things they can fix: people unable to login, stuck in disconnects, other technical issues, billing issues, in game issues that aren’t bugs.

They also can’t help you if you did like a bunch of time walking (which count as heroic) and you got no reward from your vault. It’s bs, in the early days GMs would send the item you earned in the mailbox but now days, it’s all AI generated and they have no clue.

I am not interested in helping them with their bugs nor do i care who fixes them. this is an “IN GAME ISSUE”. I clicked the “in game…” for help resolving that. I didn’t clid need hlp with login, billing, or other. This is about the “IN GAME ISSUES” if they cannot fix or resolve anything “in game” - why is it even there?

If we don’t report bugs, they don’t know they exist.

You also asked a question. I answered it. You were given the information on how things work. In game issues do not equate to bugs with a quest or achievement not rewarding you properly.

Were you leveling while you did this Timewalking and then hit 80?

No I was 80 , last week on my mage. I did at least 5 and got the reward from the weekly but the following Tuesday (this week) nothing was in the vault and I was told to post a bug report cause thats all that could happen.

Blizzard does not use AI tools. Policies have changed with time, but GMs cannot give items that were never in the player’s possession, nor even generated.

Well I earned at least an item from the vault, years ago they would send “earned items that you didn’t receive” in the mailbox. Times have changed I get it. Not all changes have been good. We should not get punished like this for stupid bugs that should not exist in the first place.

Yeah unfortunately that’s a bug and nothing a GM can do. They cannot generate loot for a Vault.

If it’s something that isn’t a bug, is a set item everyone gets and something the devs allow them to do, a GM could sometimes do this.

But since Vault generates random loot and is based on content run, it’s not something they can send.

I’m sorry that happened, though. It does suck.

CS is for account / billing issues at this point.
Haven’t had a useful encounter with a GM / Ticket Response since mid-MoP.

In fairness, at least that’s better than Jagex / Runescape. They just don’t have customer service at all. If you have ANY problem over there you basically have to pray you can get their attention on Twitter (which usually means having a content creator blast the issue to the heavens).

Having a technical problem and getting an automated link to WoWhead isn’t useful?

I’m pretty sure that customer service for wow is a prop.

Let’s just be honest, they can’t help anyone because if they did, because there are so many bugs and issues with this game, they would be flooded nonstop with requests for what you are asking for and would probably be unable to do anything else.

That’s the real reason.
