I’m experiencing the same issue that another poster described here:
I tried to change themes, several times, as he described and it isn’t working for me. I just upgraded to the latest Windows 10 and now the cursor is washed out. I’ve tried dark mode, light mode, custom settings, different Windows cursors, and etc.
Have you all been able to reproduce this internally yet? Any idea what the issue is or how I can get my properly colorized cursor back?
UPDATE: I updated my drivers to the latest and that fixed it. Thanks to Ambrodel in the EU forums for pointing me in the right direction.
Will verify that Updating your Graphics Driver if you went to Windows 10 1903, will fix the ‘washed out’ look on the Cursor if switching the theme did not work.
I tried switching the theme, but didn’t affect anything.
Updated my nVidia GTX 970 card’s drivers to 431.36 and the cursor is back to normal in game.
Also Minor note - Whenever a Windows 10 Creator’s Update (XX03 or XX09 where XX is the 20XX year), you may actually have to update your drivers.
Windows 10 Creator’s Update tend to load Microsoft version of the Drivers at times, which sometimes does not work ‘fully’.
In my case, today I just did the Windows 10 1903 update this morning, but not only did I see issues with the WoW Cursor thing, my Sound Blaster Z card was having audio issues with the Center Channel (IE: Wasn’t playing audio, but Windows registered there was audio being played)
Reinstalling/repairing the Driver for the Sound Card helped fix that, so other drivers can be whacked out after a Windows 10 Creator’s Update/upgrade.
