After updating Windows 10 to its latest version my in-game cursor appears washed-out and very pale.
I searched all over for a solution to this but I just wanted to check here for a fix before doing the whole ‘delete interface folder, etc’ thing.
Everything else looks fine.
Sorry if this has been posted before or is a known problem. Thanks!

Haven’t seen this specific issue come up yet though the Windows update is fairly new. Does the issue show up in a screenshot? if so would you mind taking on and uploading it to an image sharing site like imgur to link here? You can get past link restrictions by encasing it in a set of ~~~ like so:

Are you by chance using the new Light Theme that was introduced with this update? The also added mouse customization such as being able to change the color of the mouse that may affect the mouse in-game.
I changed and re-applied themes and that seemed to fix the issue. (I was using the dark theme but a quick switch to a different theme and back solved it).
It may have been related to the custom color you mentioned.
Sorry didn’t think of screenshots this time, but thanks!
Sure thing, glad its working for you now
I’m seeing the same thing, exactly.
On Windows 10 1903, the cursors in both the retail and Classic beta clients are washed out. This is true of the usual gauntlet, loot, or action cursor.
I’ve tinkered with the new Windows 10 color settings (particularly toggling the new light theme on and off), but even after restarting the WoW client, it doesn’t seem to make a difference for me.
It’s not at all game-breaking, indeed the lighter cursor catches my eye easier, but it is an oddity. I’d imagine it has to do with how 1903 handles the cursor with changes to support the light theme.
Oh, I’m also using zero add-ons. I’ve completely nuked my WTF folder and cache folders, as well (not directly to troubleshoot this issue, I was doing an add-on purge anyway). This should be a pretty pristine copy of the client right now, just to establish a baseline. (This is referring to retail. I only mentioned beta to establish that it’s affecting both clients.)

I’m having the same issue, no matter the amount of tinkering and restarting I do with the themes and colors nothing seems to be making a difference on my end.

I am also having the same issue on the beta and retail clients. I have tried switching the themes but it looks like nothing is helping
