I get things are slower than usual but ticket response says 8 days…So how long will my account appeal take? Literally need 1 GM to skim through my logs on my main account to see i wasnt hacking or cheating…I flippin farmed for 30 hours straight…“OMG NOBODY COULD POSSIBLY FARM FOR THAT LONG IT MUST BE HACKS!!!” This is starting to really piss me off…
The average you are shown is the length of the longest ticket in the queue, not what most tickets are being answered at.
Personally, I’d be hoping they’d take a good careful look.
Of course as would i, but it really, really shouldnt be that hard to tell i wasnt cheating or hacking…unless theres something i dont know…Regardless now ive lost my last 2 nights from being able to do anything because of someone elses mistake…
You’ve got your ticket in, you just need to wait on it. And you didn’t have to make a new thread, especially since your last one was locked up. Posting here really doesn’t do anything as this forum is one for players to assist other players. It is NOT a contact point for GMs, nor is it a way to bypass the ticket queue. Something triggered the suspension, whether a false positive or no. These things take time regardless of the slower than normal wait times, especially if it’s a fresh pair of eyes looking over someone being suspended or banned.
As for the lost playtime, if/when your account is potentially set to rights, you can always ask for the playtime to be reimbursed to you. Not a refund, but given back the game time you lost as a result of a false positive. So that part is something to think on at the tail end of this.
It’s that unnecessary attitude that tends to get these kinds of threads locked up - ignoring the fact that they’re against the CoC to begin with. I’m not trying to be rude or dismissive. I meant it truly when I said in your other thread that I hope things pan out for you.
However, the fact of the matter is that there are no GMs here. Our SFAs are pretty nifty, but they have absolutely nothing to do with the ticketing process. All you have here are your fellow players and our SFAs. We none of us know anything about the investigation into your account. That is why I say you’ll have to wait on your ticket to come up in their queue. Tickets are answered in the order that they are received. It is unrealistic to think that your ticket is any more important than someone else who got theirs in before yours. It sucks royally that ticket queues are moving slow right now, but they’re better than they were a week or so ago.
How long you’ve played means nothing if something pinged the system. Someone could have played since day one and still fell prey to some easy-mode hack tool. Things happen. Whether it was a false positive or something legit has befallen your account, it will come out through the appeals process. It’s out of your hands as your appeal works through the system, and there is no way to make it go any faster. I’m sorry but that’s just how it is.
I was online for over 36 hours straight after my father died. I’ve played 24+ hours sometimes because of insomnia. Players with the need to be first play 48 hours straight at the start of an expansion. The time-frame would not be enough to cause a suspension/ban.
Not an unnecessary attituded, i appreciate your information and willingness to help but me being silent and waiting god knows how long for a response to my appeal which shouldn’t be happening in the first place isn’t ok either. Im not the first to experience this nor will i be the last so i was posting to get possible causes from the community plus a post to be here in the future for others who may experience the same thing. For you to say it is an unnecessary attitude is a laughable joke. Let someone rip 10 years away from you and tell you that you did something knowing you didn’t. As someone who sits on the forums to be here for the “community” You should try to show a lil more compassion in a situation. Regardless this thread can be closed like the last and i will update the community after my appeal has been looked at…god knows when that will be.

I do want to make sure its clear, leilleath my attitude isn’t towards you but towards the situation…Im sure loads of people have been banned and claimed the same thing. But i havnt done anything to deserve this and I’m bothered and stressed due to the situation…I have thousands of hours into this game and I’m angry and bothered by this incident. This isn’t some minor thing. When you spend this amount of time in a game molding your account you don’t just let it fall willingly. So once the nice forums mod gets on that was on yesterday they can lock this thread as well, BUT i will be posting an update from this account or another about what happens during the appeal. People shouldn’t have to be silenced in these situations and i will not be.
So instead of waiting out your appeal you are going to risk losing your forum posting privileges ? The forums terms of service stipulate that threads about disciplinary action are not allowed. You have been told (multiple times) that posting here will not help and is not needed. Wait out your wait time and the review.
Going off on the forums is never productive, it attracts the wrong type of posters and usually goes down hill from there. That’s why threads like yours are locked down.

The thread can be locked which is fine…they can take away my posting rights which is fine…My rights have already been taken away from me for just playing the game. I understand everything everyone is trying to say but when this happened i tried to research why it could have happened and there is very little to no information…And it doesnt help that blizzard says they dont want people to talk about it on there forums??? Why would that be. If i saw that this happens occasionally and that you just need to appeal and everything would work out ok because i didn’t actually break any rules then sure fine. But literally from what people say, you must put in your appeal and then sit quietly and accept your punishment for something you didn’t do and that is not right or ok. And if blizzard has a problem with this then they should look at whatever systems they have in place that give off these alerts and handle a PERM BAN with a little more care…Regardless of the warnings. People will know how this pans out. Mistakes do happen. People at blizzard are human and do make mistakes but it is the most insane thing to say that even though i was dealt a wrong hand i MUST not say a word and wait my time only to hope the thousands of hours i put in doesn’t get stripped from me forever…Psh i paid for this product and put a large portion of my life into it, Followed the rules and engaged with people in a proper way. No rules were broken!!!.. I will speak my mind and it will be here for anyone else to see.
then the question is why ? you know it will not help in any way whatsoever , based on your rants and raves you are unable to give actual feedback anyway. They don’t perma ban accounts willy nilly and false positives at that step are super rare. There is an appeal process for a reason because of those rare instances.
Posting on the forums especially in the rambling rants that you are posting that actually say nothing is hurting you more than it will help with anything.

Customer Support is a forum for players to assist other players as best as we can. It’s not a feedback or venting forum. Player A has some issue. We try to help them or if it’s out of our wheelhouse, we point them in the proper direction. You’re irritated and upset - justly so, and I would be too if I were in your position. But this is not the place to be raging against the system or lashing out at other players who are only trying to help you from further sanction for breaching the CoC with this forum post.
If you have feedback or suggestions to pass along in how to make this service or any other, then they go to General Discussion or through the in-game suggestion tool if/when your account’s fate is decided. Feedback. Not the discussion of account actions or disciplinary issues, as that is against the CoC. Failing that, you will get a survey you can fill out with everything you want to say to how your appeal was dealt with.
I will say again, I wish you luck in your appeal(s). But please be mindful of the rules here too so you don’t find yourself with another black mark on your account.
Our right to whine in General forum is not in question, however threads that are sink to where they are solely concerned with whining eventually get locked in support forums because they are unproductive and do not lead to a solution to an issue.
They certainly don’t get a ticket bounced to the head of the queue.
I can make as many accounts needed to help people in the future dealing with this issue because there is an issue but i am willing to listen to an extent. All i want to do is talk about the issue and also make others aware that it does happen…mistakes that is. You have to understand i dont wont to be here…in the forums creating an uproar…if i could have it my way i would be in scarlet monastery trying for one of those super items…which is what i was doing…i dont want drama or issues but there is a problem in the system and im willing to listen and even worth with to come to a solution but this has been an absolute crap show due to the process and being told you cant even talk about the situation is 10x worse. And as a last note i am here for the players…ill tell ya what go google banned on wow for farming…see what comes up…Ive stated this to many times as is but i didnt cheat, hack, bot, or anything…i literally stayed up for s super long time to farm an item i had made a goal to get…and i didnt even get it the first day…all together it took like 30 hours to get and it was just a darn stealth blade from sunken temple and i only went there to get another because the 1 i had sold for 200k…this all started because i set a goal for myself and didnt quit until i got it…And now here i am…and it is for other people…if my account stays perma banned or if me posting is “making my situation worse” then son be it. It will just show why people shouldnt play…im just trying to share my story overall so other in the future can see it. if you can direct me to where that can be done then im all for it, because there needs to be a place i can go…i have been wrongfully accused of an act i have never done.
No one disputes your right to talk about an issue and inform people, but that’s what the General forum is for.
Support forums are solutions centered. Posts that don’t aid in the resolution of an issue are pointless.
Entire threads that focus on complaints are even more pointless.
Complaining louder in a support forum doesn’t get the immediate issue fixed faster.
