One last pleasant morning before the next heat wave. Another week of hot and humid. So I have the windows open, fans blowing air through as long as I can.
Completed my first full raid of the expansion over the weekend. I did some healing on the shammy and had a good time. Sure it was LFR, but it was still pretty fun. Only a couple wipes through the whole thing, which impressed me quite a bit.
He’s the only Slacker left on here. The rest jumped to Fakebook.
so our panda friend is hearthstone and kalv is diablo i knew it.
They’re shutting down some systems to try to eke out a few more years of life. It’s pretty amazing they’ve lasted as long as they have; they’ve far exceeded their planned life (and “ten times the warranty”).

Whooof! It hasn’t hit that where I am but it’s getting there. I’m dreading it.
Thankfully yesterday was low 80s and breezy, perfect for my dad to get his grill on.

Yeah, I landed around 1:45 this afternoon to discover the temp here was 10° warmer than NW Florida. My weather app had the air temp at MSP 97° with a ‘feels like’ of 109°.
I definitely think I should’ve stayed down there a while longer.

Oh god the boys have a perticular emoji for a upcoming episode and its so on point its hilarious.
Just got off work and we had a crazy police incident go down in the parking lot. (6) marked police vehicles and (1) unmarked had a vehicle in the parking lot at work surrounded at gun point.
One person was arrested it looked like and they cleared the scene about 15 minutes after it started. All that was left when I got on my transit bus home was the one unmarked vehicle sitting in front of the vehicle they had surrounded.

“Any idea why I we pulled you over, sir?”
I took my dog to the park for a bit Sunday morning, so she could cut loose for a bit. It’s just been too hot to let her run the way she likes. Yesterday morning, she didn’t seem too enthused about her walk. I checked her out later, and it looks like she hurt her carpal pad (that “extra” pad on a dog’s front leg), which may have been causing her a bit of distress. So, only a light walk this morning - though she seems to be doing better already, so tomorrow morning might be back to a normal walk.
More heat here today, too. But it might be the hottest of the week, with only Friday getting above 90. So far. But boy, do we need some rain. We’ve had some light stuff a couple times recently, but nowhere near enough. The grass is still pretty green though, at least for now.
I just upgraded my internet - three times faster for $10 more a month. I now officially have decent internet.
