Yeah, I know, I’m “double posting.” But y’all are too quiet!
Today is the anniversary of the eruption at Mt St Helens.
This is some of the ash. My grandma got it from a cousin that lived out there (Yakima, maybe?). It’s super gritty; I just can’t imagine having to live in the ashfall area and having to breathe with that stuff in the air.
I had Grandparents that lived in Winlock, when I was a teen we had a coffee can of the ash, since lost in time. But I remember them selling little vials for 10-20 on tv.
This morning had some nice views of the planets. Jupiter is creeping up on Mars. I’ll probably have clouds during that conjunction as well. The photography is improving (for what it’s worth). I’m able to track the Galilean satellites over the last few days. That never gets old. I’ll have to get up earlier to catch Saturn because it’s out of my relative field of view when I’m viewing. Venus is still a good show with it’s phase showing.
It’s almost the weekend! (or it might be for some of you )
I dont know if u can answer this but is there any reason why there seems to be a shortage of 60 day time cards for NA the walmart and gamestop have been out for over a month.
