One of our local providers lost service three times in two days this week (so far - I haven’t heard any news today). Fortunately, I’m not affected; it would have been pretty rough going to the office to work, since I need brake work on my car (that’s scheduled for tomorrow).
Onyx couldn’t give a hoot about storms, until the really BIG booms start happening. At that point, she sticks pretty close. But a little firecracker a mile and a half away? Nope. We’re going home. NOW. C’mon dad, what’s the hold up? Hurryhurryhurry!
Its been a bad day for retail costco anyways so how are u paying debit ok which debit sorry that bank is down so is that we dont take visa do u have a mastercard no can i get cash from a ATM nope card wont work on atm ugh thats my day.
Apreciate the supervisors had to deal with the brunt of it having to deal with anyone that went thru SCO or self check out and had to pay with cash or rebate checks.
Happy Birthday to me! Yeah, I actually made it to 55 without winning a Darwin Award. I bought me a graphics pen tablet with a display built in, gonna be getting back into illustration.
Right now, I got a nice cold Guinness waiting for me.
New brakes all around the car, new front calipers and two new tires. Looks like I’ll be eating pasta for the next couple weeks. It’s not quite that bad, but jeez, that broke the bank.
And it turned out to be a beautiful day here. Cooler, the humidity finally eased up, and the clouds broke, so a sunny afternoon and evening. I should be able to open the windows to air the place out overnight. No complaints from me, that’s for sure.
If this lasts until Monday…well, it can’t last till Monday…nope nope nope.
