i find there’s no reason to be in a guild on Standard, let alone have professions. Classic, absolutely. only real way to experience content, but Standard? nah, anything from lvl 60-100 raids can be done solo. current content? LFR.
kinda why i stick to Classic nowadays. much more comfort really. .-.
The problem is there is a reputation, some earned Sadly by a few bad egfs, of intentionally messing up and dying. Force the others to carry and do all the work and you still get the loot
Sadly that is alm people seem to carry from LFR nowadays.
We finally got our terrible shower water pressure fixed. And it didn’t cost a small fortune. I am a super happy camper. Plus, I think we’ve found our go-to handyman. My dad and I both liked him.
Going to be more like that. I heard a story last week during my vacation of an Asian-American getting harassed in regards to the new virus strain. Up there in the Sac or Bay area.
Well, this morning is off to an interesting and painful start. Tubs of butter are dangerous, y’all. I dropped one on my foot and now have a good sized cut on my toe and a bruise. Also, my coffee isn’t strong enough for some reason. No doubt in cahoots with the butter to make this a bad start to the day.
Payback for my less than gentle replacement of them in their said designated areas, I guess. I tend to be in a hurry and just toss things back in. Revenge is an aching big toe and a cup of what is basically slightly flavored water.
i was up to close to 1 this morning, being run through SFK. my Tauren Hunter is now a few bars away from lvl 27…once i get him to 30 however…Mauradon exp runs for alts lvls 30-50.
and speaking of coffeh, i should make one up for myself soon…feel like i need something to help me plow through quests this morning. bit of a dreary morning so far. ventured out to get a few things, and it’s looking to just be a grey kind of day today.
Wow! Go to bed and the next morning everything changed. Michigan announced a state of emergency. The virus is in my county and the one next to it. They haven’t said what city yet. An overseas traveler and a domestic traveler brought it back with them. Now they are tracking down where those people went.
Work is taking it seriously too. One entrance and exit for family and staff only. All other coded doors have been changed so people don’t try to sneak.
Woke up this morni g and the nose piece on my glasses broke off. I hope to all that it is just the screw and currently waiting for the shop to open in 20 minutes. I HOPE I don’t have tk buy a new pair. Means eye exam etc. Money we don’t really have. It is digging into my nose atm though. Not comfortable at all.
Well, a tech company in a building near my brother shut down for two weeks. He gets a text last night from his company, and they’re to work from home until end of March. I’m trying to decide the best way to leverage it into me working from home without making certain coworkers think it means confirmed exposure.
Talking to my sister-in-law on Discord, we were commenting on how it feels like we’re being told not to worry, but worry enough to take precautions, not to take it too seriously, but maybe we’re not taking it seriously enough. She then said it’s like someone with their first crush, unable to figure out how to act. LOL
