[CS Lounge] - Sword and Shield!

It’s over 50 F today, the snow is almost gone.

I live in the inner city, the dry lands they built these houses on 150 years ago, not the expensive suburbs that have better schools, bigger lots, more convenient food stores, but were built on the drained swamps left over after the city was built.

It’s just 40 and going down. It’s also raining. Happy first day of Spring!

Why not do that now? No need for more unwanted strays =/

Lots harder to wrangle this time of year, I imagine. Even food probably won’t lure him back when the scent of a female is on the air.

Sadly, I may be soon reaching the unsub point

I love this game, I am just tired of feeling frustration on raid night. Not frustration at wiping, or hitting a brick wall, or anything like that. Frustration at a beaten down raid roster, slow recruitment, and non existent people in the queue when we throw our raid up in there.

Hopefully this feeling of frustration passes.

Sorry had to vent

The game won’t last forever.

That’s odd. I hit 20k posts read (finally), but I don’t appear to be TL3 yet. I seem to remember some other posts about Trust Levels and such, but I can’t find them now.

I did try logging out then back in, but that didn’t help. I’m guessing this is something that runs periodically?

Here are the requirements Terise (it’s the same for maintaining TL3):

It doesn’t look like you are at 20k yet, Terise. Looks like you are a bit short of 17k.

Yes, once earned it usually takes a few days to a week before the level 3 status is granted.

Don’t know, I don’t seem to be able to hit trust level 3 either, don’t know why.
Perhaps some 5 posts have been flagged?
I don’t know if they tell you when your posts are flagged, but certainly five haven’t been as far as I know.
There seems to be a number of threads replied to requirement, that metric isn’t as obvious, perhaps that’s it?

The whole system, although not a bad idea in theory, seems unnecessarily esoteric.

  • Must have visited at least 50% of last 100 days - NP
  • Must have replied to at least 10 different topics - the one I’m not sure of
  • Of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 500 topics NP
  • Of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 20,000 posts - NP
  • Must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes. - NP
  • Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags - assuming you are told when your posts are flagged - NP
  • Must not have been suspended NP

So as I said before, who knows?
Not a big deal, just a bit confusing.

ugh…

For some reason a flight of AH-64 Apaches was hovering over my apartments, noisy as hell. rattled everything, scared the crap out of the cats.

“scared the crap out of the cats”?

Lol; could have been worse, one of my brothers (16 years active Army, deployments in Vietnam, official PTSD diagnosis) has only recently been able to get through July 4th without totally freaking out, and to be honest I still have some minor issues with sudden unexpected military-ish aerial displays (and my service was mostly in West Berlin).

I give up. I’m throwing them all out and tomorrow buying new ones.

And then I’ll find the lids…

That’s the way it always works. I’ve lost forks. To this day, I have no idea where they ran off to.

Talk to the spoons? :stuck_out_tongue:

My daughter and son-in-law are pros at chasing off forks. Three years of living with them led to three full silverware sets worth of butter knives, almost as many spoons, and three forks.
