I will say. This expansion fooled me completely, and made me go “no way, I wasn’t expecting that” TWICE. After the first time I was like “ok, you got me”. Then they did it again, the same way. That’s all I can say without spoiling.

Ugh i laughed too hard at the doctor who official page on fb posted that jodie whitaker was pregnant when she filemed her regeneration scene making he the first doctor acto to have literaly 2 hearts.

Eh I only made it 3 episodes into Jodie’s run before I dropped the show entirely, haven’t watched it since and don’t really plan to. The writing wasn’t just bad, it was BAD. And unless they retcon the timeless children, I will never watch it again.
That said, Eccleston - Capaldi were absolutely fantastic, one of the best shows I’ve ever watched. Capaldi had some growing pains, because his first episodes were originally written for Matt and didn’t quite fit. But he became very good by the end.

I haven’t started the new series yet, but from what I have heard the timeless children thing is being retconed or abandoned. Davies is back and I’ve also heard the writing is way better.
(BTW 10… The answer is that my Doctor is 10)

I’ve heard mixed reports on that. Some people say it’s being retconned. Some people say it’s not. I will not watch a single episode until it’s 100% confirmed retconned. That episode completely destroyed my interest in the show period because it destroyed the foundation.
I consider both 10 and 11 my Doctor. I…just can’t choose between them. They’re both absolutely amazing, but they’re good in different ways, that compliment each other.

That’s it for Dr Who for me then. Not touching it with a 100 meter pole. I consider Capaldi the end. Tennant isn’t enough to bring me back if the timeless children stays. There’s other stuff to watch and do that’s much more worthy of my time.
Been a helluva 72 hours. I’m finally coming down off of cloud nine. Certainly my mood has been way better.
