[CS Lounge] Summer time sunny days

oooh? Well I did not know that. More mogs is always good.

Happy September First everyone!!! The unofficial start of fall. Hopefully today is a good day for everyone.

Sets out a vat of coffee, a collection of tea pots, and an assortment of lovely iced beverages. :coffee: :teapot: :bubble_tea: :dracthyr_tea:

Today’s snack for me is a honeydew melon because I was gifted one. I just have to learn to cut it. Heh.

Yup, just head to your nearest Catalyst and if you have charges left (all my alts have 9 saved up - so enough for the full set) you can get the appearances.

You can use the Catalyst in Thaldraszus, Dornogal, or even Zereth Mortis.

Cut it in half. Remove the seeds. Cut into slices like watermelon. You can cut the rind off at this point. Then you can eat, or cut them into chunks for salad or smoothies.

There are a few one time quests that ignore the seasonal cap.

See, I don’t really like watermellon so I have never cut one. I know, I know. Odd that I have not.

I WILL cut this honeydew melon today though. Ty for advice. Going to cube it up so I can snack on it or use it for breakfast.

Oooh, what countries is that? Ours was in June.

Australia and New Zealand, according to my calendar, so all the uʍop ǝpᴉsdՈ people

A glorious day here. We’re only going to hit 70 today, with clear skies and a bit of a breeze. And I think tonight is the start of “fall” - low in the 40s the next couple nights; by the end of next week, we’ll have highs in the low 60s. Can’t wait!

Yum! Glorious weather! We won’t be that cool but we should have a very nice week coming up. I can turn the AC off again!

Gonna be 28-32 the next few days. For those of you in the imperial speaking counties, that’s mid to high 80’s. It ain’t over yet.

That feeling when you discover that one set of books you had to buy for college, is now worth enough to pay for every other book you were forced to buy.

I have a pair of hardback plant ID books that are apparently worth $1500 or more for one, and $300 or more for the other. Even as a Bio major with expensive books, I think that comes close to covering the costs - if I were going to sell them. Which I am not. But it is nice to know they have value…

No idea what rabbit hole I went down today that caused me to look up the prices on them. Heh.

Game said someone logged into my account from another location. I checked. Everything is as it should be. I do have and authenticator so I assume it’s some random error.

I’m so proud of myself. My hubby and me did a level 61 pit in Diablo for the first time ever. We don’t run the uber builds, just homemade ones. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Loving the weather. Opened the house up for fresh fall air. Put a few punkins on the porch table for the fall feeling. Plastic ones. Too soon for the real thing.

We had one of those huge circular spiderwebs that look right out of a horror movie on the front porch. The spider was big and ugly. We left it alone cause it wasn’t bothering us. Today it’s all gone. It’s creepy enough to see one like that, but even creepier to not know where it is.

I don’t know when it happened but it has been over 15 years since I was in one as well. They were still one level and popcorn was overpriced. I think I went to see Shaun of the Dead with a work group or something. Maybe a Harry Potter movie with a friend and his mom? IDK.

I don’t think the idea of a super lounge style theater is for me. I would only think about what people got on the seats!

Marine bio, plant bio, human bio. What kind cool bio degree you got Mirasol.

People are just plain combative and salty. Even if you agree with them, they just want to get in your face.

Human and plant. I started as pre-med then had a major tumor removed end of my junior year and decided I like the research, but not the whole hospital dealing with people part. So I finished out as mostly Botany and Ecology.

We had a fantastic hands on undergrad research program for the marine and estuarine ecology sorts of things. My school was right near a major bay.
