It isn’t like we have to play with every addon possible. Each person would chose around their needs or their liking. Some will play with a high amount of addons, some will play with a minimal amount, and some will play with none. Some guilds that are into raiding would have maybe a couple addon requirements as well, but they tend to also keep it minimal so they can try and keep mostly in line with players playstyle.
I know, I wasn’t implying anything of the sort. It was just a notable observation.
I like Skada for performance tracking (damage done, damage taken, interrupts, etc).
I also like how Miks Scrolling Battle Text allows customization of how damage/healing numbers are displayed on your screen.
And as I mostly play the tank role, I like how Tidy Plates / Threat Plates makes tracking aggro so easy.

/drops a summon stone and attempts to try and summon Mirasol for a coffee
Eh - the caffeine will stunt your growth.
- Poct, as he’s savoring his second cup of the day.
ARGH!
drops into thread looking confused
I was farming leather and stuffs with an IRL kitty in my lap. It IS time for coffee and feeding the cats though.
sets out a lovely array of cups, saucers, mugs, and even those wide bowl cups
Coffee, tea, cocoa, ice beverages and snacks!
Oh, the summon to forums worked. Wish it would work for Vrak. We need some Centaur facts that only he can provide.
By looking at the state of the CS forum this morning the centaur and the panda are going to be busy and drinking most of the coffee provided by mirasol.
The tea selection is for Vrak and his flies esp. He does not really care for coffee if I remember correctly.
Personally, I need coffee, definitely coffee!
Oh, and I mogged Mira to be a bit piratical today!
Well, more coffee for me then.
Should mog Mira for the Halloween season next month. Have a mog for each holiday or season during the year.
I will mog her for Halloween! She is currently (normally) in a fall mog right now with oranges, reds, greens, and leaves.
TY DW and Kyzera for your help. I will try to break out of my add-on shell and gives these a try. I hope it improves my game play.
A certain (now locked) thread is giving me flashbacks from The Oculus queues from back when LFG was new.
Although I have done a few LFG’s when it first came out, I must admit I was lucky enough to be in a rather active guild so it wasn’t common at the time.
Fortunately my guild was active for that, but i do remember it being hot topic at the time.
I remember special loot bags (gems, extra emblems, maybe?) for running it to help bribe people to stick with it.
Yeppers! that’s true enough. I think its just gold now. Not sure to be honest. I pretty much Duo with my wife and on occasion with a couple of other friends.
Maybe it’s time to rename this topic from a summer theme to a fall one? Maybe it will nudge the weather around here to change as well. One can only hope!
I recall one time (many years ago) that a guardian Druid decided to sit down at the entrance to Hellfire Ramparts and refused to do anything until we kicked them.
Funny thing though, the changes to deserter debuffs were already active. I guess they were a returning player who thought that being kicked wouldn’t affect them (hence why they didn’t just leave).
