There is a very strange sound outside. Almost like the patter of water falling.
It has been so long since it really rained. We need a week of this, but I will take a few hours of it today.

Send me a jar of it. I want to remember what it looks like.
We wonât get enough for a jar full Not sure we will get enough to really get the ground wet below the surface given how dry it is now. BUT at least it is falling water.
I do have my fern sitting out in the rain to get a bit of a bath.
We should be having storm remnants right now! Storms plz!
I 100% second this recipe. Itâs very easy, very forgiving. And entirely too delicious. I keep the recipe stuck to the fridge just because I second-guess my memory of the ingredients every time.
We had storms this morning. Was NOT fun to drive through though - could barely see at times.
Yep. I do the same thing. Stuck to the stove hood by the counter where I do my mixing. It is only 4 things, but I donât trust myself not to forget.
Go to costco buy a pumpkin pie boom cheapest food ull have to bring.
I usually smoke two mid-sized turkeys and then heat up the precooked ham in the smoker.
I do all my cooking over charcoal and wood.
Got some short ribs in the instapot with onion, garlic, celery, potatoes, and red WINE. YUMMY YUMMY.
I started reading this thread this morning and had to get my special coffee/vodka mix out.
Not an inaccurate assessment. Less than 24 hours prior to that post everything was fine and dandy, only thing that changed was WoW got a patch.
Now Iâm going through addons, unfortunate as it is to say.
First time Iâve seen this particular outcome of any of the addons I use going outdated, to say it was jarring is highly understating.
All this bread talk got me hankering for baking some. So grabbed some yeast while in town. Perhaps I can make use of some of the odd spices that I have had forever.
Since it is rainy here today, should I wait to bake it until a drier day?
The rain wonât really affect it, as long as you donât open the window and sit the dough by it. Generally, I find it best to place it on the stove with the oven on, or near it, to keep it warm and let it rise.
Just remember, those spices youâve had around forever might have lost some flavor over time.
On top of the fridge is another great place, because of the heat from the condenser coils.
Oh, I know. Luckily, most of them havenât been opened yet.
The mysterious cupboards are up there. I canât reach them unless I get a ladder. I have no idea anymore whatâs in them. Havenât opened them in years. Old dishes Iâm guessing.

Same for me, though mine is holding an ice cream maker, wok, egg poacher, crepe griddle, and various other kitchen machines.
We put the grocery bags up there so we can bring them back to the recycle bin the next time we go to the supermarket.
You must be really tall. With a long reach.
