Well, kids have been at school for 2 weeks now as of tomorrow and so far, so good! Tomorrow will also be the first time I will have received an actual income from working at the school and it’s pretty exciting! As a stay-at-home dad, I’ve not been at work for the better part of 5 years now! So this is awesome 
The work is part-time, so I’m not expecting to buy that Lambo I’ve got my eye on, but it’s a welcome change nonetheless

I got to meme on the company twitter account and it was GREAT.
Cox is going to send someone out tomorrow to hook up a wifi pod and check the lines. Of course the appointment was made without asking me. It’s three hours after I take my car in to have the oil changed. I’m worried that the place will be busy.
I have to have them check out my battery contacts too. I had the acid foam build up on it the other night. I rinsed it off but the nut and the bolt on the negative are encrusted. I need to move the battery to change my headlight bulb. I don’t have any spare nuts and bolts nor do I have much in the way of tools.

just waiting for the dailies to reset, so i can progress on my mission. almost out of coffee whitener, but i should have enough for tomorrow at least…not sure about Sunday, but i get paid Mon, so i’m hoping i can manage without one on Sun. nervous twitch
Oi! that was a weird dream!
First I was being transported faster than light like a guinea pig. With a speaker embedded in my shoe that allows people to talk to me like a radio.
Then I’m riding a hang glider south along the California coast to somewhere South of Camp Pendleton to help a group with something.
There’s a side story going on where I was helping to identify prisoner cells in the neighborhood where I grew up. Once we found the correct monster an appropriately skilled super hero would do a feeding pass. Inserting food into the cell and leaving as fast as possible. On the last one it was a hammerhead shark man with a human sized syringe doing a pass on an underwater monster. He performs the swim-by feeding and ends up being cornered at a bunch of open cells that had just been breached by the “villain group” that runs it. He escapes though as he swims too fast for them.
The story’s converge as I am part of the group that went to that fortress. The main antagonist is some unknown female character that monitors her forces via a series of eyeballs in every room and corridor. When one of her “commanders” gets and attitude with her after failing to stop us, she animates one of the eyes on the walls. It pops off the wall, forms stick-like arms and legs and a hood forms around the eye itself. She confronts them by standing in front of them, looking up, hands on hips. She then kicks them in the nuts as she tells them to “go to hell”. They stumble backward into a large open pit/cell and fall a long ways to their death.
My group then makes it escape via leaving the formal event we were apart of during the distraction and an Assassins Creed like character takes seven rolled up scrolls from a table. We then find ourselves jumping in two flying convertibles to escape. We go out over the ocean and coordinate our faster than light travel with our HQ. I see a video game style overlay showing the progress of the jump and our direction of travel. The jump fails and the driver in my car is arguing with someone at HQ. They tell him that we have to shut down so they can reset the system to try the jump again. Even though they screwed up the sequence.
The dream ends with me looking back behind us to see the large wake of boats trying to chase us.
There were more details mixed in like exploring the place I grew up in years ago and a few others I already am forgetting. I JUST woke up. I looked at the clock and decided that I don’t want to let that dream try to continue.
a while back, i had one where i had to fight Sephiroth with Aerith(?) and Tifa. strange thing is, i haven’t played FF VII Remake lately, been busy with other games…
but i was like “Wait, i’m not even at the right level! i don’t have the gear, nor the materia or anything! flails” but i don’t remember if i won or not…just that i was able to hold my own without much issue and that was it. .-.
i woke up around 8:30 this morning…and that was after waking up in the middle of the night, to get a drink of water…crawled back into bed without looking at the time and that was it.
Every so often I have a dream where I’m trying to pull down the console to punch in cheat codes and I keep messing up the command because I’m panicking.
Heathen! Coffee is properly enjoyed black, no cream or sugar. Just a cup pot of coffee and scone/donut/treat of choice.
I’m thinking you need to lay off the spicy/rich foods before bed. That stuff does that to me almost every time.
i’ve tried it without cream and sugar…couldn’t do it. .-. my mother (God rest her soul) however took hers with 6 sugar…granted I used to that too, but now its two shots of flavored creamer and 3 teaspoons of sugar.
and for the record, i’m hooked on this Oreo cookie flavored whitener now. its SO good! 
Beer and microwave mac and cheese doesn’t count as rich food to me.
ah…
The simple pleasures… Might do that for dinner tonight.

I only do that with Tim Horton’s coffee. Otherwise I take sugar.

I need another episode of “The Boys” please. This is why I hate weekly series. I’d rather marathon them.

Life is day by day. No riots recently, that’s a good thing. Windows still boarded up, very sad. Haven’t left the house since March (health reasons… too old?). The shower works so things aren’t terrible.
Lurking a plenty. Playing some rpol(dotnet) and other computer games (Constructor is quite funny and enjoyable).
So it’s ‘same old, same old’
