[CS Lounge] Remixed (again)

As a resident, that’s not how that works. At all. Minneapolis and St. Paul were settled independently of one another.

As I said, I regret steering conversation in this direction.

“No regrets needed. It’s an interesting conversation, imho.“

How would you feel about Niagara Falls?

Yikes. I spent the evening yesterday reading and dozing off and on, waiting to be able to validate the software push for work. I hop online, wait a few minutes until they tell me I can test. Um… no, I’m getting a 404 error. It took nearly an hour for them to find and resolve the problem so I could even login. After that, testing was a breeze. Then back to bed, where I couldn’t get right back to sleep because I was awake.

Needless to say, I did not go for my walk so I could sleep in a bit. Which was glorious, but I foresee a nap or two in my future. And I’m going to try (as long as I’m awake enough) to run most of the gas out of my car and tank back up, since it’s been weeks since I’ve driven it more than a couple miles; but that may have to wait until tomorrow.

If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to find a quiet spot to have some coffee and a nap.

Went there as a kid, 10/10, would go again.

Good morning all and happy Saturday! Almost 50F here which is sort of warmish for Nov, but rainy and foggy. Not a good day to get a walk or anything really. I left it with taking the compost out.

Got many things done yesterday! Two loads of laundry, vacuuming, sweeping, dishes, made a black bean and butternut squash stew. Sort of like black bean soup but with butternut squash, corn, diced tomatoes, onions, garlic, etc. I tossed in some brown rice and spinach too. The brown rice really helped make it a nice hearty and thick stew.

/Deep cleans the lounge, puts wood on the fire, warms the blankets and fills the basked by the fire. Makes a lot of coffee then fills the huge coffee vats, taking time to ensure all the hardware on them is sparkling clean. Puts out clean mugs, creamers, sweeteners, toppings. Refills the tea and kettle. Puts out some cinnamon rolls, bagels with cream cheese, and some bacon.

Working on Housing Prep on Live. Spreadsheets, gathering, trying to get missing profs up to 80%. BfA, Legion, and Dragonflight are the ones where I had gaps. Much harder to level if you don’t want to do Sparks or something. I will use the DMF to push them to the final points I need to unlock housing patterns.

Glad you are feeling better! Those dramas are often gorgeous. I like to watch some of them just to get ideas for costumes in paintings.

Put s out stacks of apple pancakes and real maple syrup for all. :pancakes:

I survived a trip to Costco. :dracthyr_uwahh_animated: I do not recommend unless you are a fan of stress. They did have big bins of fresh cut pine garland and wreaths. I stood there a just inhaled the memories of real Christmas trees. I miss the real tree smell. :christmas_tree: I don’t miss pine needles in your socks.

We went and got a Christmas tree from the woods once and um… it had a critter in it.

You know that scene from Lampoon’s Christmas vacation with the squirrel? Yeah… yeah it was like that except the cat got it.

Fun story. Dad was out hunting and found a turkey nest with a turkey egg hatching. Mom abandoned the nest. He took it home and hatched it.

He raised it outside now it wasnt a pet he just hatched it, named it and it ran around outside around the property / woods. Was a huge Tom turkey.

It had a fascination with anything yellow. Well the meter man (the guy that would read the power meter) had a yellow hat. That turkey kept attacking him and one day he flung the hat down. Well turkey went right to it so after that he woulf put the hat down / bring an extra so it would leave him alone.

Wild ones do fly FYI the electric man found out the hard way XD.

The egg didn’t hatch with the others and was left behind, mom thought it didn’t make it.

Yep Peep (what dad named it) was just a slow hatcher.

Lol that turkey was something else. He would call up hens but since he never saw another turkey he would get scared of her and run. She would be there like “w… what?” Looking around all confused xD

I thought. Everyone here have a good day, I’ve not much perchance to be on the forum anymore. Only one person needs to point out a mistake in someone’s post and none of it was constructive.

I thought if I ever made a mistake here it would be responded to in a mature way. And yet my experience here was not so.

Good day.

Happy Birthday!
