Lot’s of rain and huge rainbows here the last few days. You can actually see the entire bow and even a clear band of purple!

Saw 15 ( yes, I counted, haha) white pelicans at the reserve today. They are magnificent- huge birds -wingspan 9 feet- and hold their wings up as delicately and elegantly as swans.

No time for WOW again, bet my chars are standing around the campfire, ticked off at wearing the same mog for days…

Put’s out hot cocoa made with cinnamon and masa, S. American style :coffee:

I am sorry, but no. The only way to apply a transmog is to assign it to the Outfit slot (we get two free), then pay the 5000g to save. If you want to change any item on that outfit it will cost 5 x as much as it does now to transmog that slot.

These are the costs to set up and apply 3 outfits on one character.

Your current outfit saves will go to a Custom Sets tab and you can still make drafts over there. You have to have an unlocked outfit tab though and pay the transmog costs to APPLY it to the outfit so you can use it.

The new system is actually cool, but the costs are prohibitive. This is not just a new feature I might not care for or use (hearthsteel), it is taking away a system I heavily used and spent years investing time transmog hunting, buying, farming.

For anyone who likes to switch out items in their outfit regularly it is very punishing and takes away a core feature we loved. For anyone who is “set and forget it” then it provides great benefits by updating the slot, not the item - so new armor does not change the mog.

I think the answer that would make a lot of people feel less penalized is:

  • Make the Outfit tabs account wide unlock (esp with it being 800,000 to unlock them all).
  • Keep the cost per transmog slot the same as now, not 5 x higher. Better yet make it free which is what I want, but won’t get. So I will settle for keeping it the same. Don’t take things away from people or punish them.

/Strides into the lounge with a grim face. Fills the coffee vats with hot, fresh coffee, restocks the tea supplies, creamers, sweeteners, etc. Sets out some hearty breakfast sandwiches, portable fruits, and cranberry orange muffins.

/Grabs coffee in travel cup along with a sandwich and an orange. Packs up combat pens, paper notices, and glasses.

I have a campaign to wage! Transmog inflation is out of control!

Other than that the squishing test went really fast and well. They were not busy, the forms were easy (I have no history personally, and no family history), and there was no waiting really. It was not as bad as I thought it might be. A tiny bit uncomfy but overall very reasonable. I think the whole trip took 20 mins from my house to being done.

Probably the best part.

Some of my characters (Poct, for instance) are mainly locked in. The only difference is in Resto when I go from staff to a MH/OH setup from time to time, but Enh has a slightly different MH/OH setup. But I can’t decide on what outfit needs to be the “main” outfit for some characters/classes. And when I get a new, awesome set for a class? Yeah. That’s not going to be pleasant. I’ll adapt, I’m sure. But I won’t go quietly into the night!

So, I believe this is an artifact of the original Legion expansion. When the Argus patch hit (which Remix activated on Tuesday), Nightborne characters became playable races. Unlocking Nightborne meant that you had to have Suramar complete, and creating a Nightborne character was automatically Exalted.

Obviously, shouldn’t be happening on Retail, but that’s likely why you’re getting the achievement for being Exalted with The Nightfallen, and the bronze caches come along with the achievements.

Same, that’s probably the main thing I do lately, is collecting, and that doesn’t earn you so much gold. Do they really think everyone has that much gold now? I know it’s inflated a lot, but I’ve never had 800,000 gold. I have maybe 500k across all my characters and it’s the most I’ve ever had. Why would they effectively take away something that’s a core feature for a lot of us? This is the wrong place to rant about this, but clearly I need to go find the right place.

I (barely) made it to one million gold at the end of WoD (thanks to all the follower missions). And I’ve bought a couple tokens, which has built my reserves a bit. But I’m not into professions, so my in-game cash flow isn’t all that great.

I think I’ll mosey on over to the PTR forum and see what they’re saying there.

As has been said before… “Fun detected.”

Honestly, I think transmogs should be free at this point. Being fabulous and looking fabulous shouldn’t come at a cost :smiley:

I have been making posts advocating to FREE THE TRANSMOG for years now. That is my position on it 100%. With the housing in place they have a new gold sink. Just make transmog free and let people have fun.

WHAAAAAAAAAAA??? Is this for real? Or are these just wacky priced placeholders on the Beta? I love Transmog, but I can’t afford that kind of money every time I want to change clothes. Not to mention my starter account only holds 1000g per character. Surely it’s not their intent to no longer allow starters to Transmog?

Heh heh… well, I suppose a lot of the on-the-field “thinking” is just read/react skills. Coaching decisions, on the other hand, can really win or lose a game. If Gay hadn’t missed that FG at the end, McD might be out of a job right now. Jack Jones with that sweet pick in OT also saved him.

It is at least going to be Warband wide. Kaivax clarified that in another thread. That’s a future Midnight build though.

I still think its too high, but it still sounds like its something you unlock once per account.
