Two games must get legend of zelda breath of the wild and animal crossing new horizon join the dark side. mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha.
I’m waiting for Fit to be delivered so I got Zelda yesterday. Not sure I’ll go down the hole of ACNH though. I discovered cooking in Zelda on accident and I fear I may never complete the main story now.

You don’t have to. That game is designed to be explored to your heart’s content.
its…not bad. but you run out of things to do in it, and it quickly becomes tedious and boring. if you don’t log in at least once a day, you loose villagers, and can even end up getting roaches in your home. (though they’re easily taken care of, its still quite the hassle)
i got tired of getting the same islands, bugs or fish over and over again, and it quickly became annoying when i kept digging up the same fossils over and over again.

Zelda is an amazing game on the Switch. Zelda is actually got me into gaming when I first played Zelda: A Link to the Past on the Super Nintendo back in the day!

I found one at a Salvation Army still in the original box. Light gun and all for $10, not mint though as it was modded to play Super Famicom Games.

dumb question but…how long ago was that? friend of mine is looking for a SNES himself, though i imagine he’s avoiding places like ebay or kijiji for obivous reason.
If you are unable to find a Super Nintendo to play, Nintendo is selling re-makes of it on their Online Shop for a decent price.
And when you purchase it, The system comes with a few pre-installed games including Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Mario RPG, Among other cool games!
Just note: The system on Nintendo’s shop is a refurbished system. But you’ll still get a standard 1-year warranty in case anything goes wrong.

yeah, i should’ve mentioned he’s looking for the original console version. he’s a fan of old school games, like myself.
its nice that the remake comes with games pre-loaded, but you’re unable to add any more to it, and you’re stuck with what it comes with.
last i heard, he’s got the cartridges for Mario World and Link to the Past. my cousin’s BF has a SNES along with a slew of games. (as well as various other consoles and games for them as well)
i’ve always said a “Steam Library” is nice and all, but it’ll never truly beat having the physical copies of games.
Yup! I’m a fan of old school games as well. I still got my original Sega Genesis 32-Bit console, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo 64. The N64 is my favorite out of them all. Mostly because of Zelda: Ocarina of Time!
The problem is that some of those old consoles are starting to die. The various batteries and clocks inside them are wearing out. Regardless on the wear on the console.
The speed running community is starting to notice differences between individual consoles and cartages of the same game.

Hm. Rumors around the new Ampere line suggest 400-425w usage for the 3090. I don’t feel so iffy about investing in an 850w PSU for the new build, anymore.
As usual, We have some leftovers from the boil. About a pound of Mussels and 2 lbs of Crawfish. I need to peel the tails for meat and freeze them. The boil was a success and as my friend said, over the top. Clean up was slow, as I didn’t get done til about 10:30.
Dad informed me we are done with gatherings like this for the time being as they are quite expensive and labor intensive. It didn’t help that the outlay for the month was a bit much too. Our pocket books took a hit.
Then again, my friend reminded us he owes us a BBQ, he said he gonna bring a brisket to smoke using our smoker. I love to smoke meats. Good excuse to lie back and drink beer and talk.

So the intention for today is to lie back and take a “Ravenhawk” day to chill. Gonna peel crawfish for the meat and freeze it for some Étouffée.
I think I am finally getting the hang of Visions. Got my cloak to rank 15 tonight and got my first mask. Even able to run the whole Vision without having to replenish my sanity now.

I can clear visions now too with little effort, haven’t tried doing the masks yet.

I am waiting to try the Masks until I have completed my Titanic Research.
I had taken a long break from doing the 8.3 content cause I just got so burned out & stressed from it, so I am playing catch up now.
