Oh cool, you can continue to loot the Scarlet Key from Doan’s Strongbox inside the old version of Scarlet Monastery Library. Kyzera just got a second Scarlet Key from it today.

I think it’s limited to once? Whether that’s by character or account, I cannot recall - but I remember seeing that in an article to help if a friend had not been lucky to receive the key during Hallow’s End.

Yeah, it being limited was what was believed to have been accurate while Hallow’s End was active. Up until today I thought that was the case as well.
My Hunter alt (Nyzre) looted the Scarlet Key from the Headless Horseman fight on first day of Hallow’s End. She sent the Scarlet Key to Kyzera so Kyzera could do the unlock.
Kyzera looted a Scarlet Key from Doan’s Strongbox on her first run of the Library. I then ran a lot of other characters through and never even seen the Strongbox spawn again … until today.
I was very surprised to get another Scarlet Key.

I discard, unposted, at least 90% of the posts I write, after I look them over and go, yeah, that’s probably not going to help and it’s just gonna escalate. I probably should have done the same with at least half the things I do post.

I finally gave my family and friends the ultimatum…
Told them, give me two weeks, if it’s not an emergency, don’t bother me, I have a ton of work to catch up on and I don’t need the interruptions.
All day tomorrow, doing house maintenance and get ready for an inspection from the landlord in early December.

I didn’t pay enough attention and thought the unlock would be perpetually available.
Oh, from all I know and have seen the dungeon unlock should be everlasting.
It was just that Wowhead was saying that you could only ever loot ONE Scarlet Key from Doan’s Strongbox. But now Kyzera has looted TWO from it.

we actually got snow on the first of Nov. i was shocked honestly. still hoping we get more snow fall like that though. 
sets out refreshments, hot and cold beverages, food and gets the fireplace going. puts out two mugs of coffee and labels one for the Gnomes swimming pool
i’ll have to check the auction house once i can afford to resub and see what a key would run me. also should consider trying to unlock that Naxxramas stuff…mostly to get Valiance if possible. though right now, i’m just debating about what classes to get prepped for Warbands. probably Monk, Paladin, Druid and at least Mage…maybe Priest? or Shaman even. 
the news about the transmog update def has my attention though. being able to add appearances despite not being able to equip the gear? if that means what i think it means, it’d give me more reason to farm old raids every week, trying to get appearances for tier sets for those alts i’ve neglected over the years.

I think I have an extra on Bloodhoof you can have. I don’t know if I looted the one from the chest the few times I went through once I unlocked it.

Hmm … trying to decide what to play while waiting for servers to come back online.
Of course, there are the other games contained within the launcher I could play - such as Diablo or Classic - but just ain’t feeling those right now.
I do have my Steam library as well.
