Looks like summer is here in British Columbia. Next week we are supposed to reach 34 Celsius (°C) or in U.S. measurements -> 93.2 Fahrenheit (°F).

Let the heat wave come as we normally get heat waves that start this time of year and end in September. The only downside is a lot of forest fires every summer resulting in very smoky skies.

So BC is in California???

Red skies in California

British Columbia is a province in western Canada.

Realy i thot BC was a island called vancouver lol.

There is a large island in British Columbia located off of the coast of Vancouver.

It’s called Vancouver Island. You get there by taking a ferry via the Horseshoe Bay Ferry or the Tsawwassen Ferry which is near Vancouver International Airport.

Im being sarcastic lol im canadian im from alberta tho my moose needs to be plugged in so i can ride it into work in the on a side note anyone know how to make a igloo work like blackout curtains my igloo is getting to bright in the morning.

True story from my distant past:

1956 Anchorage, Alaska Territory (still three years till statehood).

Tourists visiting want to see an igloo, local entrepreneur decides to get one built by his establishment to attract some tourist money.

Entrepreneur, an import from the lower 48, has no idea how to build an igloo.

Entrepreneur hires some indigenes people and asks them to build an igloo for him.

Indigenes people he hires are Aleut, not Inuit, they ask him “what’s an igloo?”. He explains the concept, they’re intrigued by the concept and ask him who came up with it. (I couldn’t tell you if they were sincere or trolling the guy).

Great embarrassment as the Alaska entrepreneur hires someone from Canada to build an igloo in Alaska for the tourists to see.

Home. Finally.

Took a week “Up north.” Left after work last Friday, drove about halfway before camping for the night. Spent most of the week with my mom, helping her with a few things around the house and basically relaxing. After that, I went back to visit some friends back where I lived before moving down to Misery Missouri. A couple days there, pick up a few necessities (beer, pickled bologna, Vernor’s - you know, the essentials!). I came back down yesterday to try to avoid the worst of the Chicago traffic, but failed - I was going 20 over the speed limit in fairly heavy traffic, and still getting passed.

It wasn’t the best week to be back in Michigan - lots of rain, and pretty cold most of the time. But it sure was nice to see people again.

Today is pretty decent. You missed the best by a few days. It was super cold though for a bit.

Hello all! I hope everyone had a good weekend!

I am sitting in my car on my lunch listening to the rain. Super tired. Super worn out.

Trying to remember back in the day when blues had unique logos, were you the one with the centaur profile, Vrak? Also, why did you decide to get rid of them? Did it have to do with the forum UI revamp a couple years ago?
