trust me, there’s been a LOT of times where i wanted to “Gibbs Slap” some enemy or NPC in Classic Wrath. mostly cause i’m tryin g to ather resources or go somewhere and i’m getting waidlaid by some joker.

The weather is beautiful. Have the door wall and windows open. Hubby picked up some salmon and a couple of rib eyes. It’s a bbq day!

i still remember many years ago, when Boston had a 6-0 lead on Toronto in the 2nd period to clinch a spot in the playoffs. there were some Leafs fans in attendance who literally had paperbags over their heads, because of how embarrassing it was to be seen there, due to the Leafs poor performance. when it was all said and done, Boston won with a final score of 7-0.

Had a great weekend camping trip. Went to a little campground (8 spots) in the nearby National Forest. Spent a couple nights tenting and wandering the trails. It’s a gorgeous area - hilly, fairly quiet, and lots of woods to explore. Found a dilapidated house - two rooms downstairs, one up, probably a basement/root cellar, too. It was actually a pretty decent location, too; at the top of a hill, surrounded by forest. I’m a little sore; the camp pillow just doesn’t cut it, I guess.
But boy, has it been windy. There was a smallish fire on the south side of town that burned about 35 acres on Friday. But yesterday, about 3500 acres west of town burned. It razed most of a “town,” which is kind of a misnomer (the 2020 population was 28), but still pretty terrible. They ended up shutting down the interstate for a few hours because the smoke was so thick you couldn’t see anything. Only one person reported as injured, and no deaths, so that’s good.
