Yeah, it’s a little weird, but I think I’m going to appreciate that aspect of it, especially on some of the lengthier threads.
Please don’t make this a thing. I don’t know if you have any power over this or not but PLEASE consider at least telling dave in it to at least allow for some customization.
Sticky headers are GREAT, but the DESIGN for the NavBar and SearchBar in this case is atrocious. I’m a Frontend Engineer and I’m utterly BAFFLED by the design choices here. Again it’s not the UX that’s the issue here, it’s the jarring amount of padding between that shows off the background element. Simply removing the terrible padding will fix 90% of the forum posters complaints

It already is a thing, and we (CS and by extension Mods/Support Forum Agents) don’t have any control over updates.

This. STICK the TOP BAR to the TOP of the browser window. Stick the FORUM NAVIGATION BAR to the BOTTOM of the TOP BAR. Boom, 99% less disorienting and it doesn’t have me ducking down at my desk like it’s going to help me peer under it.

Alright, I thank you for answering.
I will say my only gripe so far is that it starts threads with 3+ posts at the top and then auto-scrolls to the bottom. A couple times in this thread it hasn’t even made it to the bottom.
Time for a bug report, I think.

I actually thought something had broken with chrome and i ended up reinstalling it.
Actually upon further inspection it isn’t just the bad padding showing annoying glimpses of the back elements. The snapping down to the bottom of a post is actually nauseating. Like there needs be a warning to agree to be on the forums it’s that distressing.

I feel ya. The company where I’m currently working makes changes and forgets doesn’t bother to tell us. A lot of times we’re asking them if there’s an issue, and they tell us “No issue, we made a change last night.” Grrr…

I didn’t go to Trejo’s Tacos, or Albertos (the go to spot for me at 2 am ) … which would have been amazing too. Glax took me to a local Mexican place that was everything I wanted. Tex Mex is good, but it’s not what I was raised with, so I miss the traditional tastes that I’m used to.
Of course, Del Taco, because there isn’t one here. 
I would have loved to hit up my favorite sea food restaurant in Sunset Beach, but there wasn’t time. Maybe next trip.
