[CS Lounge] Mastadôn's Puntastic Pseudo-thread!

That looks like the logo off the buy and sell i co admin lol.

currently playing Classic Wrath and trying to remember what i did back in the day to play WoW, but all i can remember is jumping between different classes, before settling on a Paly then jumping to Death Knight around lvl 50-55ish.

but in the 13 years since, i’ve gotten burned out on playing Paly’s let alone DK’s…though part of me wants to do the Paly mount quest eventually. for the time being though, i’m just working on a few alts here and there, getting them to a point where i can eventually faction change them (once that becomes a feature) to Alliance.

i didn’t have podcasts back then to listen to, to help with the drudgery, so at least i’ve got that whenever i feel like the whole questing is becoming a bit mind numbing. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

It’s time for my weekly Go Lions! To be honest I am starting to lose the enthusiasm.

on a lighter note, Druid is fitting quite well for me so far. decided to take up two gathering professions, rather than something to gear myself up along the way. think my biggest hurdle will be glyphs eventually. i may just take up Inscription eventually to make my own, because i have an uneasy feeling, they’ll be expensive as hell once i get to the appropriate levels. x_x

Always prefered LW and skinning for druid seems a good fit.

And take the Tigers with you!

Made a frittata this morning, and then this afternoon was stuffed mushrooms and some breakfast burritos (for the freezer). I might make a Cottage Pie later in the week, so I have the freezer filled back up with lunches.

And once again, I’ve realized way late in the expansion that I’ve left a ton of gold on the table (so to speak) with the weekly Anima collection quest and the mission table. I did the same thing in WOD, though I did manage to get my “main” realm up over a million gold by the end. I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to do that this time around.

Special lady friend on her way over. Gonna cook some shrimp scampi and hope it comes out. Kind of nervous. Kinda excited at the same time.

Good night all

Watching the walking dead and there was a magor death not comic book accurate but very well deserved.

ugh, it’s one of those nights, I am up every two or so hours, I putz around, then go back to sleep. Gonna be tired all day today. So, right now, I am painting a Early War (1940s) German Heer army for my Bolt Action game. At the rate I am going, I’ll have it finished by the middle of this week.

It doesn’t help that Bellatrix the Cat uses me as a spring board to get on the shelf to look out of the window at 3am in the morning too.

I’m there with you TT. It’s been one of those nights. Fortunately, I have the “mountains” around me while the hunter’s moon shines down. Saw one deer cross the yard in the moonlight. It’s a wonderful sight. Sure beats downtown living. Boy, I’m starting to sound old(er). I’d yell ‘get off the lawn,’ but the deer were here before me. I guess the deer and the bear get the final say. I’ll just stand over here in one of my outbuildings (never thought I’d be one to say that). The night skies have been incredible. I think I know where I’m going to place the observatory. Gotta keep it from the deer and bear paths. Who would’ve thought I’d be concerned about that as well? This is great!

Now sitting here relaxing, watching tv. Trying to muster the will to do laundry. And failing.

What a weekend we had in Red Deer. Our puppy had one heck of a haul bringing home 7 ribbons. Best male puppy, 1 first in class, 2 second in class and 3 reserve winners dog. Looking forward to Camrose now. Just to add that was our very first show in our show dog careers.

Nothing better in the fall. Cool fall breeze with some delicious soup cooking and aroma-ing the house (yes, I made up a word).

my character doesn’t feel complete, unless they’ve explored the Horde areas and gotten the Horde cooking recipes, plus fished up something from Orgrimmar and completed Ragefire Chasm.

but i’ve still got quite a while to wait before i can manage that, so for now…i’ll just work on a Hunter. that was essentially one of the very first classes i ever played back in 2009. though i’ve learned things over the past 13 years that i didn’t know back then. (I.E. keep a good supply of food that my pet likes, make sure they’re kept content to prevent them from rebelling against me, etc)

I know what you mean. At one point in the past, I was transferring an Alliance mule over to Horde, and I stopped into the Inn in SW Old Town and loaded up on Alliance cooking recipes. All my Horde toons learned them.

And mayyyyybe…a few got sold on the AH. One never knows. :see_no_evil: :hear_no_evil: :speak_no_evil:

i won’t hesitate to try that…though i’m not sure how the economy on Westfall Alliance is like. Horde side is a bit…rough. netherweave bags are going for close to 200g a pop, whereas Alliance, its around 20g.

Someone please remind me again why I started (yet again) trying to finish Blood Infusion with my own little coterie of alts. We are about 3-4 wipes in so far and still no progress.

It is becoming a fine balancing game of trying to get them down in just enough health to die after I bite them. So far just being gearless has not done it. Might have to start doing rez sickness next. The only shining light in all this is that they do get MC’d and thus we all end up dying before Lana’thel does. So at least we can continue to try it this reset.

This whole thing has been a mess from the start. I transferred 6 of my alts (3 Horde, 3 Alliance) to 3 of my other licenses last night. And that is where all the fun began. I forgot in my rush to do this, that I was sending Shadowlands level alts to licenses that only had BFA. Ofc, they were all locked upon arrival. So that meant I then had to upgrade them all to Shadowlands. That was a big derp on my part. /doh

Certainly hoping I can get this figured out as I have a total of 9 characters that are on the quest chain. Would be great to get them all done soon.
