And that’s one you just can’t ignore. My grandma had shingles a couple times when she was still around, and did not have a good time of it. And since I had chicken pox as a kid…
Chicken pox party, am i right?
If you know, you know.
Watching season premiere of Masked Singer. I heart this show.
Nope. At least, not intentionally. And I remember my dad saying something about inviting all the local kids over.
Same with when I had the measles.
AFAIK, I’ve never had chicken pox. I do remember having the mumps at least once though.

So far (), this newest booster has only gave me a sore arm and slight fever. I got the Pfizer bivalent booster. My original vaccines were Pfizer, then I did the original booster from Moderna.

Getting close to starting on my garden.
I now have my raised beds, shepherd hooks, arbor, solar lanterns, solar faerie lights, and bird bath.
Now I just have to decide on what to plant. I know that I will have at least 2 of the privacy hedge evergreen trees to go across from the bird bath in center.
Also need to decide on how I want to do the pathways and if I want to do a wall of some sort around the whole area.
Guess it is back to scouring the interwebs for more ideas.
My baby shaman is basically done. He’s the last 60 I am doing for this expansion. Took 2 weeks, but he’s got his basic legendaries, 4 piece set bonus and one week away from completing the 1st dinar quest.
Gonna spend the week running BGs with him.
Yup. Chicken pox party. We did that too. One friend got it, and we were all called in sick at school and got to go hang out with the friend so we would get it as well, since there was no vaccine back in the day.
Decided on making steak sandwiches with sautéed onions and peppers on a hoagie roll for dinner. Smells great in here, cannot wait to eat.
Making Po’Boy Pizzas. Texas Garlic Toast, Tomato Sauce with a bit of seasoning and Provolone Cheese on top.
No meat? Are you sure you are from Texas?
Meat is expensive, why it’s Po’Boy.
True that my friend.
I just envision you have a deep freeze full of delicious finds, the way you talk about all these glorious yummy delicious sounding things you post about.
Dang, glad my food is almost ready, typing that sentence made me hungry
Tomorrow, Po’Boy Spaghetti. Noodles, Tomato sauce with some seasoning and diced hotdogs.
That can even work with buttered and seasoned noodles without the sauce.
We made salisbury steak & homemade gravy with boiled potatoes & biscuits last night. Not sure what we are gonna do for dinner tonight though.
But we finally got the flavor of the gravy the way we wanted. We do it with some drippings from the hamburger patties (which I cooked in oven on a rack), corn starch, milk, beef broth, sliced onions, sliced mushrooms, black garlic, & black pepper. It was the first time we had used the black garlic in the gravy, but it gave it just the right amount of savory flavor that the regular garlic wasn’t adding.
I love making some pasta, adding a bit of butter and herbs.
And now, something to make your brain explode:
The Rope Around The Earth Problem
Take a rope tied tautly around a basketball. Now the rope must be lengthened so that there is a one foot gap between the ball and the rope at all points, as if the rope is hovering a foot away around the entirety of the ball. How much must the rope be lengthened to accomplish this? 6.28 Feet.
Now take a rope tied tautly around the equator of the earth. We have the same goal for the one foot hovering gap around the entirety of the earth. How far must the rope be lengthened? 6.28 Feet.
The Math!
It’s “simple.” Circumference is 2r*π.
You add let’s say a feet to the radius. The new circumference would be. 2(r+1feet)*π.
If you do the math it’s 2rπ+2feetπ.
Now I want some PIE!
