[CS Lounge] It's dangerous to go alone, take this!

Flight definitely does make it go quicker. With flight, I was able to do all available world quests in Zandalar and Kul Tiras in a couple hours.

and for those WQ’s that require a group, it makes flying nearly mandatory. can’t tell you how many times i grouped up for a WQ boss, only to fail to get to said boss in time, because people rushed to get it done and drop out. ._.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Got word back, the plumbers that installed the water heater when the house was built don’t do service calls, only new construction… So, I’m going to try and fix it myself :crossed_fingers:

OR get use to cold water.

I feel you. In winter 2018-2019, our hot water heater’s pilot light kept going out for now apparent reason. Our landlord ended up having to replace literally every component except for the water tank itself before it was fixed.

This was not fun in December.

But yeah, there’s a reason why I adore my landlord.

Or find another plumber?

But then how will I ever learn?!

I’ve done a bit of research and I think the solution is pretty straight forward. It involves changing out the anode rod in the tank for a powered rod made of a different material. Supposed to help with the smell, especially if you have a water softener (which I recently got installed). So I think that’s my best bet and should be a pretty simple process to remove the old and insert the new.

I will of course keep you all updated on my water heater adventures… That work from home life.

I’d agree with this. After watching Mythbusters, working on a water heater unless you’re very handy seems like a recipe for a rocket.

i miss that show. the amount of hijinks, mayhem, shenanigans and malarkey Adam and Jamie got into was comical and entertaining.

“i reject your reality, and substitute my own.”

My partner and I are going through a rewatch of it again, in order, skipping only episodes that we’ve watched too recently or are way too silly for us to rewatch.

It’s our go-to “we need to turn off our brains and enjoy it” entertainment.

I actually met Adam Savage about a year ago, when he came to Austin to do a talk about his new book. He’s just as awesome in person.

seems my theory about a certain “someone” causing problems, that leads into the upcoming expansion, may’ve been pretty close to the mark. :eyes:

I tell you, it wasn’t me. Or any of my other Rufflebottoms. I swear. Well, I really do swear in real life, just not on the forums.

merd would likely tell me not to trust gnomes, but…you guys DO make good sn…i mean, i need you for Gnomish engineering…mostly cause i don’t think i can trust gobbies, especially since quite a few of them are still in league with that gaudy “build-a-bear” knock off, known as Jestor Gallywix.

i can see this being used as a Rachel and Joey meme.
“Trust.” “Trust.”
“In.” “In.”
“Me.” “Me.”
“Trust in me.” “Gnomes are tasty.”

Happy thoughts that it’s real…
