It depends on where you play and time of day and whether or not the other faction in your area are just questing for the warmode bonus. I could go gank you if you want, depending on the realm and faction.
hehehe
More Gnomies
decided to run Sunwell Plateu on a whim. looted Kil’jaden and…THIS was in the loot table.
needless to say, i was blown away. wasn’t expecting that for sure, but at least now, i’ve got it as a transmog for future hunter alts.
Now that’s a pretty bow!!!
Grats!!!
Man, I got that the first time I ran Sunwell on my hunter. I’d use it for xmog too if it had a quiver. I was running it and ICC with my best friend and my partner.
My best friend got Invincible that day, and I got the ICC 25 achievement drake. My poor partner didn’t get bupkiss though.
only bow that has a quiver now, is Thas’dorah, Legacy of the Windrunners. sadly, to transmog it, you need to be in Marksmanship spec only.
that’s a mount i wouldn’t mind getting honestly. i feel it would look good on my Death Knight…but i hardly ever play him anymore. almost like he’s…“dead” to me. /rimshot
I mostly play Marks. I stick with Thas’dorah though because of the (awesome) quiver.
We’re not resurrecting the pun-offs again.
i laughed at this, much more than was necessary and i’m not ashamed of it.
no, in all seriousness though…i don’t play a Holy/Disc Priest or a Resto Druid/Shammy so i can’t rez anyone or anything. and i mostly play a Hunter anyway.
Survival is fun too; I love Mongoose Bite gameplay. It’s just hard to beat the satisfaction of nailing some jerk of a mob at extreme range with a hard-hitting Aimed Shot.
i may cave and boost my Tauren Hunter just to do the war campaign…just to be on the safe side, as i don’t know what’s going to happen once 9.0 is launched.
and speaking of which, and forgive me if i asked this already…but if i faction change TO an allied race, would that negate him/her from earning heritage armor, should i get to lvl 110 without the use of boost(s)?
Yes, that would negate the eligibility for Allied Race Heritage Armor.
To receive the special Heritage Armor transmog set, you must level your Allied Race character to 110 and complete the Heritage quest: Lightforged Draenei, Highmountain Tauren, Nightborne, Void Elf, Mag’har Orc, Dark Iron Dwarf, Zandalari Troll, Kul Tiran Human, Vulpera, Mechagnome.
The following will prevent you from receiving your Heritage Armor:
- Using the Character Boost service
- Purchasing a Faction Change or Race Change for that character
You can use Heirlooms and experience potions while leveling your Allied Race character and still receive your Heritage Armor.
that’s what i figured. wasn’t sure if it only applied to faction changing the allied race to anything else. it’ll take a while for my Orc Hunter to get to lvl 20, let alone finish the cooking/fishing dailies in Orgrimmar/Undercity anyway, so it gives me plenty of time to finish up grinding rep for Proudmoore Admiralty, and getting a Kul Tiran to 110 anyway.
then i can faction change said Orc Hunter to a Kul Tiran, have the heritage armor set, have the majority of Eversong Woods/Ghostlands explored, the Horde cooking recipes and the more “obnoxious dailies” done, as well as one requirement of fishing diplomat taken care of.
I wish they still had the quivers that could be crafted and the special arrows that did extra damage could be crafted and sold then equipped however I never liked the fact that the quivers took the extra bag space.
I was gonna go to church tomorrow, but the landlord decided it would be a good day to replace the roof of me and dad’s apartment. So I gotta stick around as they are gonna open up the ceiling and all that fun stuff.
Hope it’s just the roof and not under it.
Ugh, I would avoid insulation at any cost. Nothing like breathing nigh invisible glass.
Tornado warning just popped up on the TV but looks like it’s going to the south of where I live however hail has been coming down but not big enough to cause damage to our cars. However there are 3 more systems coming behind this one, Looks like it may be a long next few hours for us here at the N.C. & S.C. border.
Be safe, that looks like a nasty system. Hopefully it won’t cause any destruction and can quickly move off shore.
Thanks Kyzera! It’s times like this when I wish that I had a basement.
You’re welcome.
