Does beer count?
It was a whack day at work. I really need one.
The ‘permenant’ ban was cause for much levity, someone posted that – “… the fact that the “ban” occurred after she milked a cow was udderly ridiculous”.
(I like bad puns)
It might be safer if it isn’t a drinking game.
See???
Its bad people. Thats what im saying
I just saw a headline that said that Amazon’s MMO is frying video cards. I didn’t dig into though for details.
It does if you don’t cap the fps to 60fps.
That didn’t help with Batman Arkham knight. Some people still received damage to hardware.
Software can’t damage hardware. The most it can do is run it at 100% load. If that damages things, you have inadequate cooling, and it would have eventually happened anyway, no matter what you were running.
just reading some of those titles and its definitely…something.
especially the ones that swim in coffee pots. we tend to have two separate pots for THAT reason. xP
he tends to cook some good stuff for the lounge honestly.
John Pinette (God rest his soul) did a joke about drinking games once. said if you want to play a drinking game, watch Cake Boss and take a drink every time Buddy says “Fondant” you take a drink. (though i imagine you’ll have to be taken in to be detoxed by the end of one episode, so do so at your discretion…or choose a non-alcoholic beverage if you’d rather play it safe)
reminds me, i need to refill my water bottle…
and my tankard!
guess Twitch had some…“beef” with the streamer then?
My husband and I make the same joke when we watch an Ancient Aliens episode. If you were to take a drink every time the narrator said “ancient astronaut theorists” … you would be in a coma before the episode ended.
I have never been in such a coma…
Now, what were we talking about?
Thats what i figured was on fire in GD Somone put it best innocent till proven guilty.
ok, i should probably stop looking up wowpedia and reading stuff, as i’ve yet to truly progress through 9.0’s content and thus most of the stuff is considered “spoilers”.
though in all fairness i read a summary of what happened in SoD as i figured i had zero chance of seeing said content. (highest lvl atm, is lvl 55 on my Kul Tiran Hunter) but my guild HAS been doing progression through SoD and they’re roughly 5/10 so…there’s a chance i could get in if i worked hard enough.
guess my main concern is…do i want to do this with a Hunter and if so…do i want to take Engineering as my profession or should i scrap it (no pun intended) and take up something else?
Soaking my feet in an Epsom salt bath. ohhh, feels so nice.
yeah looks like they got alot to workout over there
I wondered if it might. Hasn’t spilled into here though, unlike when Blitzchung happened.
Because media has difficulty differentiating between Activision Blizzard, Activision, and Blizzard, the news was a little unclear whether it meant just Blizzard, or ActiBlizz, Acti, Blizz and King. Still, I believe both sides are telling what they believe is the truth.
As has been pointed out by some more sedate folks, the issues raised aren’t even remotely limited to Blizzard, ActiBlizz, or AAA studios and companies. It’s an industry-wide problem that’s as present in indie studios as corporate ones and is just an aspect of the even larger issue of women in engineering and programming, or indeed in the workplace. That doesn’t make sexism in any of that any better, but understanding just how pervasive it is is important to understanding that stories like this are going to happen, and regardless of the truth, they’re a sign that there’s still more work to do.
I will now return you all to your regularly scheduled coffee and food and stuff.
Hecc. I knew I should have clarified a little bit in that post, it was very much a broad stroke that needed some pruning.
Ah, well! Thoroughly covered, anyway.
It was a good sample to provide some clarification.
