Started the day feeling “alright.” A little sore, but nothing major. It’s 24 hours since my second shot, and I feel like something unmentionable (let’s just say if my dog was sniffing it, I’d pull her away).

My second shot is Saturday. I am looking forward to it. Going to stop at IHOP on the way home. I have a Dentist appt on Monday. I hope I feel okay.

The Gina and Lola Bunny ones belonged in Entertainment. Personally I would have deleted the Coronavirus threads as they contain quite a lot of incorrect information.

They also contain rebuttal to the incorrect information.
They (mods) seem to tolerate more debate lately and delete threads only if or when replies become personal or abusive; the “off topic Movies, TV And Entertainment” forum having become the place to move political junk out of the way of more appropriate topics in the forums with more traffic.

Alrighty, it’s the weekend! 
Last lecture of the semester this evening. It’s just grading and watching presentations for the rest of the semester.
Summer is in sight. Will have my second shot next week!
I think meatloaf on the smoker is what’s up for the weekend (be sure to use indirect heating or you will have a scorched meatloaf bottom).
I should have some time to get some WoW in soon, finally. (Well, I’ve been building my Evil Genius 2 hideout lately)

I’m feeling sooo much better. Yesterday afternoon was not pleasant. Achy, tired, and just bleh. Went to my local Chinese restaurant and got some hot and sour soup for dinner. By the time I went to bed around 8, I was feeling a bit better, but still not great. But today is good so far. Well, except for the having to get up for work. But that’s normal, and nothing a good cup of coffee won’t fix.
So the feeling really cruddy part of the second shot is only about six or eight hours.

Our Governor has strongly begged us to voluntarily stay home for the next two weeks. I think she is afraid of the pitchfork mob if she ordered it. We decided to do our part and not eat out today like we usually do on a Friday. Pork chops on the grill with Changs crispy green beans. It’s not the same as eating out but the cases of covid here are crazy high.
My second shot tomorrow!

Good luck on that second shot - hopefully you won’t have to deal with the side effects too much.
And you’re probably right - half the state would grab the pitchforks, a third would be like “meh…”, and the last few would be “yeah, that’s a good idea.”
I got suckered into a double today.
Pleasant side note. I was given free reign over the cook. If he disappears I was approved by the head of my department to react however I feel, say whatever I want.
In her words maybe that will deliver the point to him haha.
But I am hurting inside. Paperwork was sent off today. So it is officially in motion. Meh. More important I left my son crying because I had to come back tk work. He wanted to come over so he could play Fortnite with a school friend. That tore me up inside.
The exchange for me working today though. No matter what, I will not be asked to stay tomorrow. I am off on Sunday and pick g the boys up as soon as I am off. Grwat trade imo despite his tears.

That was a amazing episode of falcoln and winter soldier no spoilers but it was AMAZING.
I’m home. I’m showered. I’m exhausted. Trying a new taco truck tonight. See what they have going for them. Gonna sit down and watch Rebel, see if I like. Really like Katy Segal, so hope I do. Do some dishes, my sink is full. Then crash. Hard
I was getting gas on the way home today, and decided to grab something “sweet.” So I grabbed a candy bar. As I’m making my selection, I see the price - $1.69. First thing that popped into my head was that I can remember when candy was a quarter.
