If you do the flat cat7 ethernet cables are rugged enough to run under the rug and flat enough to not make a bump. My main computer (the one with all the Adobe software) connects to my router and switch that way.

Sadly, my apartment has hard wood floors, and my floor rug is not long enough hehe. I found some flat cables on Amazon that were decently priced. Just making sure it does not matter if I get a cat6 or not. I have the best internet package offered here. That said, it is 50 Mb haha
Cat6 will totally be fine. I’m running on Cat6 to a bunch of my devices and it can handle the load.

CAT6 is more than enough, but you may as well get it since it won’t cost appreciably more than CAT5. 
It may very well ease the issue - wireless is extremely sensitive to interference. A neighbour running a microwave or living in a building with numerous other wifi devices can kill it.
Suspect an apartment complex would be ripe with interference huh? Appreciate the insight. Seems to be working well right now, he is not complaining and having fun. All that matters.

That is my plan here. I told her I would mow the back today cuz I am off. I volunteered. I plan to take Boogy to school, come home and do my dishes, take trash out etc.
Then round up laundry. Go over there and put a load in and do the back, early, before it gets warm.
Finish laundry and come relax on my day off.
We’re supposed to hit 80. Yesterday was gorgeous, too. Then a bit of a cool-off and rain Wednesday. Which we need.
So disc golf this afternoon, maybe tomorrow, too.
Nice. I have found my west facing windows, combined with my oven, can heat the apartment. When I got home it was 72 according to the thermostat. When I went to bed we were up to 77. I know a decent chunk of that was due to air fryer cooking fries and stove/oven for the nice fat juicy burgers I made for Boogy and me. They were delicious too.
Still a floor fan next to my desk was all that was needed to stay comfortable. Kicked the AC on just for about 5 minutes before bed to slightly cool the air, then turned it right off.
I know the feeling - I used to live in a south facing apartment on the third floor. As long as it wasn’t night, that apartment was an oven. And of course, it only had a wall unit AC, so that barely did any good. And even in winter it was soooo hot. And the heat was radiant, so you had to have it on at least “3” (of 5) to keep air pockets from building in your pipes or you’d lose heat completely. Had to keep the windows were open all winter.
Yikes. Don’t get me wrong. I have central heat and air. It is just a lot smaller space than I am used to, so of course a heat source will spread easily. My house had a wall and dining room separating it from the living room for example. And a nice high vaulted ceiling. There was plenty of space for the heat to go haha.
It’s all good though. Trying to talk myself into doing dishes so I can get on with my tasks of the day. That said, I don’t want to get on with my tasks of the day cuz I don’t want to adult haha
Car is dropped off at the shop, daughter brought me home on her way to work. Now I’m finally able to get some sleep before the vet appointment this afternoon. Five bucks says the mechanic calls right in the middle of nap time.
It will only happen if you aren’t lying there with “When are they going to call” running through your head.
I should have left a note with the keys pre-authorizing anything up to X amount, and to only call if it exceeds that amount or if the work is done.
I also forgot to tell my son he gets to drive us to the vet appt.
I am stalling. I am telling myself the back grass is always wet right now, but I just don’t want to do anything haha.
I will get my booty moving in about 30 minutes. That way I can get my laundry done as well, spend a little of my disposable cash because I decided I am worth it and want Ribeye for dinner tonight. Get home put laundry up and get ready to experience therapy for the first time.
I wonder if the latter is causing me to procrastinate subconsciously. I have no clue what to expect and that kinda bothers me if I am being totally honest. Well bothers I think is the wrong word. Kinda skeptical, but scared at the same time.
OK, yard is mowed. First load of laundry is in. And I cleaned out the deep freeze as she requested at the house. To be fair, she had been asking me to do it for a long time. I just didn’t care, because well you know, so I never did.
Head back in about 30 minutes or so to switch the wash to the dryer and put my other load in, then I am free until my counseling appointment this afternoon.
