School district is having a surplus sale on Wednesday. Laptops for $5. All in one computers $5. Ipad mini and projectors for $10. Plan to get each child a laptop and ipad mini. Would not mind picking up an ipad mini for myself, and my wife wants one of each as well.
Then there are the two mini orders from the head of my department and a laptop order from my kitchen supervisor. Hope I can get all of this and that there is not a limit on it.
Edit: Oh just looked at the prices. That is not unreasonable AT ALL

Starts at 530 on Wednesday. My plan is to be there at 430 445 or so. It is not a highly advertised thing that I know about? I dunno. We shall see. But for those prices? Even though the laptops are old? Still a laptop. Still an ipad mini

Be thankful, My neighbor just got out of the hospital after being in there for 100 days, Has to learn to walk all over again, He told me that when he woke up in ICU after the 3rd week they had a ventilator hooked up to him and was quite some time before they could wean him off it.
He also commented about the bill… Over $700,000.00…
When I was in the hospital for double pneumonia for two weeks in late 2018, my bill came out to almost $100,000.00. Not fun.
My $6k bill for my kidney stone was wiped. I used the financial aid service for them and I didn’t make enough. So they discounted 100%.

looks at his late father’s hospital bill and here i was grumbling about having to pay the remaining $650 for his last 2 week stay. @_@
though tbf, he WAS in transference care, and on a waiting list for a nursing home.

I couldn’t pay my late Fathers bill it was around 10K so being he died with me with no possessions whatsoever, No Power Of Attorney and No executor of estate, I just ignored the bill,
Being he came into this world with nothing, But during his life he Served his country in the Navy, Worked for GE reconditioning Nuclear Fuel Rods used in Power Plants around the world, I figured he had paid his debt imo.
He left this world with what he came into it with…Nothing, But he did leave his Love for his family.

I’m worried about that myself (No Insurance) that’s why I do my best to try to not catch anything but this isolation since March of this year is taking it’s toll on my sanity, I thank GOD for having my handicap sister to care for here with me.

Prognosis came in this morning, I tested positive, so I am continuing to stay homebound for the time being. Not showing any signs yet, but Dad is feeling a bit better.

Have you stocked up on the necessities? Hope you and your dad will be okay. Sounds like the stay at home will bump into Christmas.
