Oh, the DM is aware. He told the other two AMs they would just have to figure it last night’s shift coverage. They called his bluff and (I’m reasonably sure) he called the GM and, once again, explained the GM’s responsibilities to him.
Getting ready to head in for my Friday shift, or at least, I’m trying to… The kitten is making it clear she thinks we should still be napping on the couch.

personally, i’d ask for a compromise: i’ll nap in my bed instead. mostly cause my couch is a bit…cluttered if you will, and i can’t be bothered to clear it off, but that’s also cause i never have company anymore. no cable here, nothing to really watch, no streaming service that’s caught my eye, and i’d have to stream it from my desktop in the computer room. 
Very rarely do I discover big egos in Normal dungeons. Heroics, sometimes, and LFR? I’ll pass, thankyouverymuch.
One store I ran (many moons ago), I ended up working open to close pretty much every Saturday because the night managers were just this side of worthless - “Oh, I told you I needed Saturday night off.” No, you didn’t. Then I’d go back in Sunday morning to open and do week-ending paperwork/inventory. Which was alright because that store didn’t have any Sunday business.
OK, I’m just going to say it. Why don’t you take the job? I know you have said you don’t want it, but at some point does it not become easier for you to do it your way with final word on a store level?
I don’t want the kitchen manager job, however that said if it becomes open I would take it. Over half the staff there want me in that position anyway, because I don’t care who did it. If it is wrong I call them out, many times to the actual kitchen manager haha.

I had a coworker at walmart that was more then qualified but didnt want it either and i mean dpt manage oh she could make me smile.

Me and him used to work the 11-7 shift that brings back memories.
1 nite he was over tired and kept putting in filet o fish ugh instead of big macs i had to keep checking to make sure which is which.
another time we had a order for 15 cheeseburgers he said cook the patties and ill make the burgers he reminds me of u mastadon. part 2 of this story Car right behind the previous car says what did the car infront of them order we tell them they say ok give us 16 double cheeseburgers dont know how we made it thru the night but we did good memories.
