Dinner is in the oven. For the next several days.
I got a 6 lb turkey breast, and made a cheesy potato casserole and stuffing. And because I’m a glutton for punishment, I’ve also got an apple crisp going. On the minus side, lots of dishes and the house is going to overheat for a while. On the plus side, I won’t have to cook again for several days.

He is spotty in places. The recovet is 3 to 4 weeks. However he is very happy to be home. Biggest concernn for us is when he is in the bath. Very hard time getting balance to get out.
Prep cooking for tomorrow. Was at hospital all day yesterday and worked today. So we moved the turkey til tomorrow.
Put grocery order in for pickup tomorrow evening. Going to do something prob bly I’ll advised. Going to Walmart tomorrow morning for a few things I don’t want to wait for the pickup for. And taking Boogy. He needs to learn to navigate that walker in crowds, and we’ll my dad threw me in the pool to learn to swim so hey, deep end he goes lol. He needs to get out and move

It was funny the first time I saw it in the '70s. It’s still funny now.

A nearly typical Thanksgiving. Terrible football (at least for my team) and way too much food. Just need some family to enjoy it with, but not really possible this year.
It’s way too early to consider going to bed, but I believe that’s what I’m going to do.
I haven’t listened to that song in so long!
One of the classrooms that I supervise for lunch had the Macy’s Day Virtual Parade on the projector. I thought that was a fun way to pass some time celebrating the turkey-time for our friends to the south

Always been a tradition for my family my entire life and being 60 soon to be 61 it is a tradition that will remain until the day I depart this earth.
Well 2019-2020 has been 2 of the worst years of my life, Lost Mom in July of 2019 and then the Pandemic hit and during the summer I got suspicious that my wife might be seeing another man.
Finally I purchased a tracking device and put it on the car that I had bought for her, Sure enough, 3 weeks ago she left saying she was going to a local store, 1 & 1/2 hours later I checked and she was 30 miles away and so I went to were she was and sat in the car watching her and another man in his car parked right beside hers for about 15 minutes and then I walked up beside the car my wife drives and took a lot of some revealing photos then the guy saw me and my ex wife to be turned her head toward me and at that point I walked around the front of the car in which she immediately exited his vehicle as I entered onto his passenger seat and said to him: “Why are you here with my wife” in which he responded “I’m sorry man I didn’t know that she was married” he then put the car in reverse as I was trying to get my hands on him, I then jumped out and held his passenger door as his car was backing up, I bent the door forward and could hear the metal bending and crunching and then I slammed it shut as he put it in drive and sped away.
Not long after that the police came and I showed them the photos and all they said was well there’s nothing for us to do here looks like you need to get you a lawyer.
I asked her who that was and what he met to her and her reply was: “I didn’t know that man”!?!? Needless to say she is living in a home with other Chinese people that rent rooms out and contacts me constantly trying to reconcile.
I told her that she has ruined our marriage and the least she could do is come clean and be truthful but she is sticking to her story.
Everyone that I have shown the photos to have said she is lying and any judge that sees the photos and hears her story will be on my side.
11 years of my life down the drain…

Well our gobble gobble is being consumed today. Got ul early and threw it in the oven. 22 lb bird, so gonna be cooking for a bit haha.
Wife always gets mad it not ready til like 4 or so, so figured get it in now baby. I was going to try overnight method but was concerned I was SO tired I would burn it.
