[CS Lounge] Happy holidays

Making chicken soup for dinner tonight.

Told my son to put the chicken on at about 12 in a boiling pot of water and lightly season it. Keep an eye on the water level, and I am off work at 2. I will take care of the rest.

heheheh.

Happy Sunday.

Nice video Thunder. Might want to keep it away from PETA… if you know what I mean :joy:

The semester is over. Grades are done. Time to get into some gaming… What will it be? questing? world quests? pet battles? (I’d say Pathfinder but I’ve had it done for months… but the missus just got it yesterday) jelly hunting? Mmm.

Maybe a little of all of them. I’ve a brisket to roast later today. (Seasonings are simple; salt, pepper and a bit of garlic powder) I still have gravy from an earlier pot roast so that will help clear out the freezer.

Happy trails and happy hunting all.

Well I bit the bullet and went to Costco. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Maybe the lake effect snow showers are keeping people inside until the salt trucks come out. I splurged and bought a usda prime rib roast.:cut_of_meat::hocho: Usda choice was cheaper, but it’s Christmas!:christmas_tree:

i’m now picturing Thunder as the Incredible Hulk, just tossing furlbogs left and right, and i can’t stop laughing at it.

also, Frozen 2 was a lot better than i originally planned to give it credit for. the animation style was really nice, and if funds are suitable enough in the next month or so (and it’s still in theaters) i’m planning on a secondary viewing…otherwise, i’ll likely get the bluray version when that gets released.

Ugh.

Game session went pretty well. However, the party handily beat one of the guys that I planned to be a major arc villain and currently have him trussed up in the trunk of a car. I’m going to have to get him out and buff him up a fair bit… since he’s an enchanter, his defenses are at a static difficulty to bypass, rather than a roll, and one of the PCs is extremely good at headbutting people (he’s half Billy Goat Gruff).

However, I went to bed an hour late, because I wanted to get some dailies done and I can wake up a tad later on the weekend. And then when I went to bed, I tossed and turned for an hour and a half or two hours and woke up at my normal alarm time to boot. >_<

I’m not quite to zombie levels, but I’m not far off. I’m right on the borderline of sleepiness where I’d call in for being less productive at work than at home. >_>

Man I hated it when well laid plans went sideways.

In a game I was a participant in, had a friend call shot to the eye of a cyclops. Rolled a 20.DM got mad and said his brother burst through the door. Another calm shot another r20. He just threw his hands up and let us move on. Lol

Given that the main plot of the next three scenarios is currently planned to be a faerie manipulating the party into getting revenge on the enchanter for him, I kind of need him to stick around. xD

Either that or was a double and not him. Or a hallucination.

There are tons of ways you can get around this one.

I plan to have him escape into the spirit world while they’re driving.

Which, due to the nature of magic in The Dresden Files, will naturally kill the PC’s car. Again.

For the buffs, I’m debating giving him a loadout of a smaller number of more potent enchanted items, or just giving him more direct power as a combat wizard.

so now i’m trying to find a plushie of that Salamander character from Frozen 2, (for my aunt, which she said she’d like to get for Christmas) which you would think wouldn’t be too difficult…except the only place that sells something along that line, is the build a bear workshop, and it’s more of a “wristie” than anything else.

may have to send word to my cousin and ask if she can look into it more as well, as she’s likely keeping an eye out as well.

Classic 90s moment. Last Friday went to a Laser show and they did the whole Rush 2112 album, it was a Nice show,

There are 200 replies after this… but I didn’t see one that was a direct reply to your question.

The Critical Role table is shaped so that Matt sits in a ‘wedge’ corner and then the cast sit at diagonals across from him. Then directly opposite him is his camera. Above the table is a camera pointing directly down for the maps/such. Then beside Matt on the diagonals are cameras that point across at each row of cast.

Also, good morning to everyone
