(CS LOUNGE):Happy Halloween

I apologize gang. Wasn't trying to bring negativity.

Just figured with how much we socialize we could share our thoughts.

On that note, somehow I survived today without my Coca Cola iv drip and still have a few cans left. That is a major accomplishment. So yay me
My friend is doing a Twilight 2000 campaign using D20 Modern, All my friends are rolling SpecOps and Snipers. Me? Combat Medic, gotta keep them patched up.

Folks, remember this is a place for you guys to socialize, if you want to talk about gaming products, you'll want to use the appropriate forum to do so.

There's not going to be much socializing for at least a week. The topic on a lot of people's minds right now is going to stick for a while. It may be a hot topic for the rest of the year.

/sigh
Where's MG when you need her....

I commend you on this accomplishment. My coffee failed me today and I had to give into taking a nap.
I feel kinda great. I managed to spend the day gaming at my LFGS and NOT spend a dime. But of course, my friend bought me lunch and I stopped for a soda on the way home.
Good evening!
Vrakthris! Enjoy yourself at BlizzCon?

Yes, actually. Loved all the announcements, the matches that I was able to see in eSports for Overwatch, WoW, and Heroes were fantastic (I was backstage eating lunch when the Warcraft finals were going and the roars from the crowd during that final match was a physical thing that hit us, truly awesome.

I didn't get to try any of the demos but I tend to wait so that the participants can do that since I'll likely have early access to them. That said, I can't wait to try out Ashe when she hits the PTR (though if there is no line on my way out I may have to jump in there).

Finishing up my shift at the con shortly. It's a toss up between socializing afterward and heading home to get off my feet. :D

I hope overall folks that got to watch/experience any of it enjoyed themselves.
/hungry

/yay for mandatory hour of OT
Making Taquito Casserole for dinner tonight. Simple and Easy to make.
So last night I finally got my Nightborne Monk to 110! Yay for heritage gear :)

Now for the final grind to 120. Still haven't started a second spec (currently mistweaver and love it) but am thinking of DPS as an off spec.

Decisions, decisions!

Here's a good question for you guys, when is it acceptable to start putting up Christmas lights?

I can't answer that for you. You already had your Thanksgiving. But for my money, not u til after turkey day.

Saw a Christmas commercial this morning and my son almost flipped out saying it is too early for it.

At the vet. A stray cat followed the boys home after they took her some food and water on Friday.

The kids begged and pleaded. My wife tried t ok soften me up. Finally I capitulated if she was healthy.

So she getting blood work and shots currently.

And this is how Princess mew mew IV, Kit Kat(I didn't name her. Well the princess part is me cuz our previous cat we had to put down was prince mew mew III) came to the house.

Can't wait to I troduce her to the dog. She runs and it is over. He will squirrel her forever. Cuz his favorite past time is chasing squirrels in the back yard.

before it snows

Haha! That's what I always try for...but rarely succeed! Seems like we get our first storms sooner and sooner here.

I think I'll wait until after remembrance day unless we get a nice day and I'll put them up, but leave them off.
Remember, remember!
The fifth of November,
The Gunpowder treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!
Guy !@#$es and his companions
Did the scheme contrive,
To blow the King and Parliament
All up alive.
Threescore barrels, laid below,
To prove old England's overthrow.
But, by God's providence, him they catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
A stick and a stake
For King James's sake!
If you won't give me one,
I'll take two,
The better for me,
And the worse for you.
A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,
A penn'orth of cheese to choke him,
A pint of beer to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.
Holloa, boys! holloa, boys! make the bells ring!
Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King!
Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!
And clean bill of health says we have a cat now.

Dog is ecstatic. Cat.... Not so much about the dog lol
Well, 90 reps done - now to find enough for last 10. Not looking forward to that switch from Scryer to Aldor.

Also, I wanted a little “pop” to my hair color, so now it’s kinda like a dark fuschia / purpley color.
Our cats have been dog socialized since they were little, so if I have them outside they're more likely to try to stalk and pounce passing dogs who usually look baffled. (Since they're used to the 60 pound Belgian Malinois, smaller dogs look more like playmates to them.)

Today's the day we lose Ramses, the first dog, though. </3 Poor little guy has just been getting worse (very aggressive cancer), so it became evident trying to squeeze another couple months onto his prognosis would be more for his humans than him.
Those are hard. But you just have to push through.
Right now it is a balmy, windy 53 degrees. A lot of people are putting up their Christmas lights because it will be in the 30's for the next week. We put ours up early but don't turn them on until the day after Thanksgiving. Or the forgotten holiday to us retail employees. >.< I haven't had a nice relaxing family Thanksgiving in ten years now.
