Pity oh well.
Candyman candyman candyman cant come out anymore RIP tony todd
Oh nooooo RIP
So I made a prot pally on Tuesday, first time I’ve tried prot since the Kara days. It’s so different but way better and more fun to play.
What’s crazy to me is that I’m already level 22 after only a few hours of play time. It’s going really fast.
RIP Kurn, Son of Mogh!
So it’s definitely a headscratcher, but not presently a dealbreaker at the moment…
Seems the Pro doesn’t want to download games over wired connection, but… it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the Pro itself. Downloads flag a corrupt file error every ten seconds when downloading an update or game, but resuming after the error pops up the file continues to download a couple hundred MBs before erroring again.
The issue does not persist on wireless.
A reddit thread suggests it might be a fiber connectivity thing, or maybe something specifically with Fidium, however just a couple days ago I installed Dragon Age: The Veilguard to a PS5 Slim model via ethernet (with the same cable that doesn’t work on the Pro) with no issue at all.
Technology is… weird.
Could very well be that the cable is the issue, might be time to upgrade to Cat8.
Have you had a chance to play it yet? If so, how are you liking it? I really loved the original games. I have Inquisition, but it doesn’t really do it for me.
I haven’t played it either but I have watched some reviews, they seem to be mixed. Apparently the studio is already moving on to the new Mass Effect game. From what I understand there will be no expansions or DLC but that could change.
Not exactly. I was telling myself that I’d hold off until I had the Pro in my possession because it was handily going to be the best way to play the game for me. I’m largely a console gamer but do have a Steam library of games I’ve never really touched, controllers just feel much more immersive for reasons. Also being a completionist feels better with Playstation Trophies than it does Xbox or Steam Achievements for some reason.
That said, I did succumb to self-pressure and install it for the explicit purpose of character creation so I’d be ready to go as soon as I had it installed on the new console. Fluctuations with my work schedule this week have unfortunately deterred me from that initial dive, so at this rate I might as well hold off until the night before my next day off so I can forget time exists and stay up unreasonably late into the dawn.
Also not that I can do anything about it now, but Newegg has the Western Digital SN850P 8TB NVMe available for $250 off (25%) for the foreseeable future. $20 less (18% off) if you want the not-Playstation-branded model. Me looking at my past self three weeks ago buying it for $60 off at Best Buy just to have it ready…
I’ve played some of the early game, and I don’t think it’s as bad as people are saying.
I’m still too early to get a good sense of the story, but some of the characters are memorable.
On PC at least, from a technical perspective it’s really well done, which is a refreshing change of pace after launch Hogwarts Legacy and launch Jedi: Survivor.
sneaks in before dawn
Very early coffee, tea, and beverage set up today. Be kind and have fun.
Well, opening night went well.
At least better than final dress the day before, when I had to (semi-jokingly) ask the stage manager if it was too late to fire the director.
Jeez, and I thought I got up early! You got me beat with snacks and drinks to beat.
Good morning folks. Hope you all enjoy your weekend. The turkey is coming.
No big plans on my end, should be a nice chill weekend. Grinding more Valorstones, and probably sticking to my usual gaming rotation between WoW, Warframe and War Thunder.
…Just a lot of war, really, I guess.
I’m barely a few hours into the whole game, but so far, I love it. I could be picky about camera angles, but that’s about the only gripe. I know some people aren’t a fan of some of the more “cartoonish” graphics, but I’ll take that over Inquisition where everything was so shiny that it looked wet.
for the folks who may Remember abby the Chihuahua/my dog is 70 some dog years old now
Currently trying to figure out how to block the Launcher’s pop-over ads … it isn’t breaking-news.support.blizzard.com.
Second day in a row I ran out of flags in the AM.
Im frugal with my flagging if i see something that need to be flagged theres probably 5 other people that will flag
Or you can just flag the thread itself.
Since it was warm and dry today (as usual) my hubby put up the Christmas lights on the second story. Dripping icicle lights. He just has to get a ladder and get onto the roof of the porch and reach up to hook them on. The rest we will do later.
Since he was up there, he used the leaf blower to clean out the gutter. The rest have guards on them so they’re okay. We cheaped out and didn’t cover the porch ones. He’s now mulching up the next wave of leaves. Maybe one more time before the tree is done.
They say it will rain tomorrow. I will believe it when I see it.
Oh, GO LIONS!
