yeah, been sick most of the year, ended up losing my right leg. Waiting for a referral to go through for a prosthetic.

Hospitals are too quiet. I am use to a very loud fan and thunder or ocean sounds playing in my bedroom.
Aside from hearing the nurses and their carts occasionally, the only other sounds in my room are the dripping of my IV and its clicking every so often and then the cuff on my other leg tightening and releasing every minute.
I knew I should have packed a bag before I left for surgery. My charger would have been a great thing to have right now. Then I could play sleeping sounds on phone.
Its weird how one gets so used to noise that going without is very noticeable and harder to sleep.

I wish I could confirm this to be true, but the last time I was in hospital, the fire alarm went off, caused by a fire alarm door being open.

Ooh, that wasn’t a fun time at all.
I…didn’t actually think people tried to pull that stunt in real life. Online I see it all the time but, yeesh.
Anyway, good morning folks. Should be a boring day for me. Get some holiday stuff sorted and I think that’s it. Stinks there’s no WoW until around 6 PM my time but, that’s how it rolls sometimes.
Maybe can plow through some of this backlog I built up…

I remember that. Classic server is never gonna happen. Not a chance. You think you want this, but you don’t. People would get in really nasty fights on the forums, demanding that people not even bring up the subject because it would never, ever, ever happen.
For decades, people insisted that multiboxers were perfectly fine and would never be driven out of the game. One button pressing shooting eight fireballs was absolutely fine. Blizzard would never do anything to inhibit multiboxing. And yet now, the use of multiboxing software is a bannable offense and the practice is all but eliminated.
I find it unwise to speak in such absolutes. Designs change. Designers change. Policies are modified and re-interpreted.

It is Wednesday morning here at around 1.30am, and it is maintenence downtime too…
/puts out a lot of coffee onto the CS Table, along with other drinks and some snacks.
And time for me to poof over to GD to read through a few threads to keep my Forum Level up.

Patch day. ALL THE PATCHES! Much excite here. WoW siren Isle. D4 Goblin holiday event!. Palia new stuffs too! All Maint at the same times. D4 event and Palia are up first this afternoon around 1 my time I think.
Glad you came through ok but I am sorry you had to stay overnight. Safety first though so it seems like the best idea. Hopefully you can go home today and get all those kitty cuddles. Also glad they fixed the proper knee

I must fly, the kitties have told me they are starbing and I have never fed them ever. Oh, and I need IRL coffee. Hehe

Finally got up to walk for first time post surgery.
Ooh boy, that was an experience.
Due to my issues with the anesthesia yesterday, I was unable to do my therapy until now.
Still in hospital, but should be leaving later day.
