Hold still…
*takes aim
There, new shots to the knees
Had to take real careful aim for the second shot. This gun tend to kick upward when it’s fired…

Uggh. I’m sorry to hear that.
I laughed too much at that. My brother says something very similar to me when I need to get a shot.
Well, I was gonna wait on Disney+ but I caved and now I am starting The Empire Strikes Back. I watched A New Hope last night.
The Dr popped the big blister on my ankle with a needle and drained it. My foot is still killing me. I go back Monday. He wrote a prescription for gauze and wrap etc. However I can’t find a pharmacy that takes the Work Comp insurance and fills it. Talked to my case worker and she said they were going to change the dressings at work, as I work at a skilled facility. I told her I would have to drive there at least twice a day and was confused… She thought I was on light duty. It old her no, I am pulled, and the doc said it would probably be a few weeks. I have not heard back yet unfortunately. We shall see what happens.
I fell asleep when I got home. My wife woke me up when she got home from work. So pizza for dinner. Can’t say as I can argue much with that logic haha.
My big outting will be a Sam’s trip on Saturday with her. She will drop me at the front where I will hobble to a motorized cart. She will park and we will get what we need. The goal is for me to not walk at all. The only other problem is, I do all the shopping and she knows where NOTHING is. But she does not want me hobbling around the store alone.
i find it odd that i can see both parts for BfA Pathfinder, despite not having the first part done, yet i can’t see part 2 for Legion Pathfinder, even though i don’t have the first part either. (did that make any sense?)
on a side note, i’ve got Suramar quests, then another 79 world quests, getting revered with the Broken Isles factions and completing the class hall campaign, then there’s part 2 i gotta worry about. .-.
he’s typing in two threads at once
he’s too powerful
takes a drink from his tankard
who gave the troll “de voodoo”? xP
need to buy a chub of bologna, to make Memphis BBQ Bologna sandwiches
My kids live it when I just grill chunks of bologna and put some BBQ sauce on it.
I bet they love it too
They do haha.
Went out to get pokemon sword 176$ walking out with fallen order as well feels like a costco trip lol.
They all do, even the M16 had muzzle rise on full auto (probably why they apparently later changed it to three round burst).
Just take two seconds to recover then blast that knee.
As a Gnome you even get the advantage of siting level.
(why isn’t there a hunter Emogi?)
Having read a bunch of Richard Marcinko books, I look at this and wonder what they train infantry to fire now. 3-round burst on the setting or 3-round while set to auto.
He talked about training his guys to operate on auto but able to tap the trigger to get single or double on the spot. If I remember correctly, he’s stated somewhere that 3-round is a waste of ammo.
gonna try this again…got DC’d twice in under a minute earlier. just want to get some progress on Kul Tiras Loremaster, so i can (eventually) unlock Kul Tirans as an allied race.
edit: nm…just saw a group of 40 Horde players (same race, class, character designs) fly past me, killing and tagging everything in sight. now i understand why people despise multiboxers so much. ._.
edit: may have to call in a favor or two…i need to finish questing in Drustvar, but with all the multiboxers flying around, it’s becoming increasingly stressful just trying to quest…and since Loremaster has to be acquired on a single character, just for the Pride of Kul Tiras storyline…my only other option, is to start over from scratch on Sisters…again. ._.
Well this is going to sound strange, but I was very fond of the M14. Anything out to 250 meters was a guaranteed hit. Not fond of firearms in general and wish they were less available.
In Vietnam the theory was a “field of fire” i.e. in a jungle where you can’t see the target create a zone of fire in front of you.
The M14 was phased out in favor of the M16 (much lobbying and politics involved some bad decisions made, not the right forum for that discussion). Although the weapon had actual full auto the training was still to fire three round bursts when using full auto (or “rock and roll mode” as it was fondly called). I believe the full auto was modified to a forced three round burst mode, perhaps someone younger can confirm or correct this.
Although I fired Expert with both M14 and M16, the M14 was both more accurate and had a longer effective range (but was much heavier to tote as was its ammunition). It’s my understanding that platoons in the Gulf wars had some M14s issued because of this longer range and accuracy in a theater where open desert is more prevalent than jungle.
Both are antiques, I believe the M24 is replacing the M14, the M16, longest serving main infantry weapon in US history, lives on.
(full disclosure, my service was an infantry battalion in West Berlin, not Vietnam where both my father and brother served)
The Germany base is the European launching point for first-response by the US, correct?
My grandfather was a CB in Vietnam. Never got to hear stories from him as he passed from a heart attack in 89.
Back to work on Monday on restricted duty. Work has to provide me with a wheelchair that has a leg extension to elevate my leg. I can’t lift, and can only stand for 15 minutes at a time.
I mean at least I can try to be productive for them right?
Hopefully the chair is not THAT bad, because sitting at my computer watching Drama Time from today and my foot is throbbing
Use a crutch to whip the underperformers into shape.
Just waiting for November to be finished. It’s my big expense month, Millennium Con and Thanksgiving. December is light after that. I don’t have kids and I usually get Christmas presents bought during the year.
Interesting news, started looking for a house to rent. The landlord is playing shady games and me and dad are thinking it’s time to get a house.
Or a cane so you can wave it around wildly and grab them cartoon-style if need be for much needed entertainment while stuck in the wheelchair.
Feel better soon. I’m glad they are letting you work. Don’t push yourself too much.
