[CS LOUNGE] Country roads, take me home

I’ve got a warrior up to level 5 right now, It took me a while to remember where everything was, The world map, quests, This really brings back some good memories.
Personally though I liked it when they brought BC out and you had to figure out how much Parry, Block, etc. you needed because too little wasn’t quite there and if you went over it was a waste when you could have put a gemstone or whatnot in where you needed more of that certain stat, Had to do math in those days to make sure you were geared just right for your spec.

Still though this brings back a lot of memories, especially for Hunters to make sure to not forget to feed their pets or they would run off and make sure they have enough arrows to carry through a dungeon/raid. Also melee has to train each type of weapon (Including Unarmed) to do the maximum damage.

This sure does bring back some good memories; Just not sure if it will catch on for those of us like me that’s been there done that ya know.

It was as bad as I remembered. No shared taps, slow respawn, seven players for every mob, melee dashing in to get the tag before a caster gets a spell off. All that after the log-in queue boss. I got to level six on a human mage last night. My mother wanted to know what I was cursing about.

Got my Shaman to 10 and surprisingly enough, I remembered the whole Fire Totem chain.

My 'lock is at 7, and I’ve given up for the night. The number of people competing for spawns is incredible. Not to mention the grumbling about Retail in gen chat.

I think the thing that’ll keep me away from it will be having to pick up loot from every corpse (to be fair I haven’t tested it, but I do seem to recall they brought in the area loot thing after SW:TOR was launched with that feature, which was around 2011 which really would put it in post-Classic time. Was about the only thing that I liked about SW:TOR as far as actual nuts and bolts user mechanics that was better than WoW.
Yeah, single looting etc. is just urgh

And all the inappropriate chat because the reporting feature isn’t enabled.

Oh wow, I had completely forgotten that except for the imp, warlock pets require a soulstone to summon.
Edit - …and that it’s a shard, not a stone.

=)

I did see some melee try to run in to tag mobs, but I was pulling from max distance, so usually had already tagged mine thankfully.

Not having any quest indicators on the map is a little daunting, but I find where I need to go - eventually.

I got to level 7 before I just started getting too tired to play anymore. Going to see if I can finish leveling her up now.

St initial consultation appointment for the eldest. Dr talking to him now, then my turn.

Then we see if needs meds or just somebody to talk to at the moment.

I have my opinions on the matter. We will see if a trained professional agrees or if I am off base.

Yeah I had forgotten about the quest indicators not being there at least there’s a little dot on the mini map to show where to turn in.

I myself did all I’m going to do, Got to level 5 and just decided I’d had enough, When you were there years ago and been there and done it for most of the classes it just gets old for me anyway; Those that didn’t get to experience it way back when it’s all new to them.

You’re a good Father Mast to admit that you may be off base. My Father had it in his head that he was right I was wrong kind of attitude and if you didn’t agree you got the belt or yelled at, I know I wasn’t right all of the time but neither was he, It stained our relationship for a long time but in the end we both saw the light.

Hello all.

Well, lurking seems to have paid off. Sometimes you find that little morsel of knowledge that puts you in a good mood.

I read in GD (sorry but… it happens) that there was a release of names. Of course I’m not going to believe everything I hear… and then I tried it. Just a month ago when I returned, one of the names that I enjoy on a particular toon was unavailable. Today… I have the name that I was looking for. Yay!

I hope you find that one little spark that lightens your day.

And I was not right. I was too far in the extreme of what I thought. Was a great visit though and hopefully we can get this knocked out easily enough.

Trwatment plan is in place though and hopefully all will be well

Now, dealing within the youngin having a melt down cuz he is hard headed. Like me.

Happy Anniversary Misbecky! Here’s to all your rest of your marriage to be long, prosperous and full of good times! :confetti_ball::fireworks:

I just want everyone to know that I’ve enjoyed all the chats with many of you and to thank you all for letting me vent my frustrations from time to time.

However it’s time for me to move on, I’ve got real life matters to tend to and won’t be logging back on for a long while.

Many thanks to those of you that have been there for me (You know who you are).

Sincerely; Dumbeldorf
