97F already is ridiculous. âLuckilyâ the humidity hasnât kicked in yet. So we basically have Texas/Arizona heat.

Dry heat in Florida is an oxymoron. My son came home and said our lawn feels swampy. We are all going to grow mold in funny places soon if this keeps up.
The wet is making my tomato plants grow like crazy. They will look like triffids soon at this rate. (wonders if anyone else saw that old black and white movie on tv)

The drumming sound they made, still gives me the creeps.
I like to tell people that the heat here in AZ is dry like when you have your face next to a running oven and open it, and that the heat in FL is wet like when you have your face next to a just ran dishwasher and open it.

I can remember when people would pull to the side of the road when a funeral would drive by with even some taking their hats off out of respect; Those days are long gone but I still do it myself out of respect and watch others just drive on by and look at me like Iâm crazy.

Smothered Chicken, Mash Potatoes, and a veg yet to be determined for dinner tonight. Not sure if I want to cut fresh green beans or not. I am erring on the not side though. I am tired, and lazy. Mostly tired thoughâŚor lazy. Not sure which.
