I’m really laughing in real life (this helps provide the support we need ) because I didn’t think I could include the videos in my post! This changes everything! Thank you.
My body is not happy with me right now. Boss wanted me to meet the truck. Also didn’t trust the cook would come in. So iI was here 3 1/2 hours earlier than normal for a Tuesday.
Wife has no work tomorrow. Do I get to sleep in? No. Son has an appointment at 8. Ok cool. Wife has no work Thursday. Does that mean I get to sleep in? Nope. Other son has an appointment at 830. Are you serious?
And the driver just texted me saying theybdelivered his trailer late. So I was here at a ridiculous hour and he will be here in about an hour. Not his fault he has to wait at the the satellite hub for the distribution warehouse to drop the trailers off.
So I clocked out. I am in the office and closing my eyes. He will call me to wake me up when he is about a mile away. My boss will wake me before that anyway as it is her office haha.
got an email from pizza hut, and over the next few days, they’ll add procedures for contactless delivery and carry-out. last i heard, there were at least 3 possible cases, though i don’t think it was confirmed or not.
managed to get a few things today. some of the shelves were pretty empty. (I.E. toilet paper, etc)
hmm. wonder if 2 of the 4 presumes are in my city then.
dunno what i did to my foot, but it hurts like hell. >.< may have to just go barefoot and keep an eye on it for a while…maybe even try to keep it elevated or something.
i might’ve banged it, or maybe it’s just not used to being in a sneaker, after being in boots over the past few months.
This grocery truck though is no joke. We were stop two on our drivers route and probably half of his load in the trailer. I said lots of not nice things to hin. Then we laughed. Then I told him but seriously I expect you to put it all away now.
Then he got in the truck and drove away. And I cried. I am not even half way done almost 4 1/2 hours later.
GL to everyone in quarantine! Unfortunately even if our area gets quarantined, I’ll most likely still have to go into work as I help maintain communication hardware and circuits which is impossible to do remotely and is needed so people can call 911 and keep the internet on for work-from-homes.
They had a lot of fresh produce but no chicken, eggs, noodles. The usual paper products were missing. No cleaning supplies. No Miller lite beer or nacho chips. They had cases of baked beans for sale. Maybe that’s where all the toilet paper went.
One of the micro-breweries in Nova Scotia is switching to making hand sanitizer. They are going to be using their 500ml glass liquer bottles because they can’t source plastic ones right now.
