[CS Lounge] Aik's Popcorn Party for all!

@Bel-i’m still upset at myself for messing up that pun. :disappointed: i edited it though, so now it should say “bone” and not “boil”.

if you want to see “fun”, check out Classic. 9 times out of 10, you’ve got idiots kiting Teremus to Stormwind. pretty soon, they’ll be kiting Kazaak there, as well as bringing that blood plague from Zul’Gurub, and finally, the plague from the Scourge Invasion (though the latter probably won’t happen, for at least another year and a half, give or take) .-.

Woke up at 5am and started to clean like a madman. I got a nurse coming by around 8ish for a home visit and I wanted to make my place semi-presentable. I have wargaming stuff spread all over the place.

I wasn’t sleeping yesterday ubwere sleeping.

I’m awake and not terribly happy about it. Thunder storm swept through and woke me up. That part I don’t mind. I find them beautiful to listen to. Just never went terribly deep out again. O

The only bad thing. My wife has nk alarms set. No getting up at 545. And I am up. Ugh.

Leafmender Legwraps Unique equipped pants. It’s cold in Frostfire Ridge. You need to layer.

I’d be shocked if Blood Plague ends up happening in the same way.

Though I do wonder how much the research from the Blood Plague is helping things now.

PCGamer actually did an interview article the other day about this topic.

I’ll have to read that once I get back from dropping my partner off at work, thanks!

Also, in terms of thankfulness, it looks like they’re transitioning to work from home soon too.

as much as i’d appreciate it, if Blizz implemented a fix to prevent it and the “Plague” from being exploited by trollers…knowing the “no-change” crowd (much as i’d like to call them something else, i don’t want to risk another “strike” as it stands. :frowning:) and how much they’d be hyper ventilating over any “differences” between Classic and “Vanilla”, i’m not expecting a fix. ._.

managed to get some moar coffeh, as well as another can of tomato juice and paste (the former i may not necessarily need, still debatable though), but i learned there’s now at least 14 cases here.

may have to restrict myself to venturing outside until i get paid next week. and even then, it’ll be to pick up a few things to tie me over for a few more days. but this’ll certainly put a hamper on my birthday approaching in a few weeks.

typically i go to Boston Pizza for dinner…but with most restaurants doing take-out/delivery only, it’ll be somewhat difficult to get my yearly ribs. .-.

most of my bills are either automatic withdrawls, or i can pay them online, so that’s not an issue. still waiting to see if i get a T4 for my late father’s CPP. he got one for death benefits, and while he WAS getting a CPC from Jan through Sept, it was ended going onwards from there.

haven’t seen anything yet, so i’ll give it till at least the 31st. if i STILL don’t see anything by then, i’ll contact my aunt and she’ll pick up the paperwork i do have, and file my taxes for me.

also still hoping FF VII gets released a day early, and i can spend my 40th, playing it…its either that, or i spend my 40th, trying to get my Hunter closer to 60. :stuck_out_tongue:

So my wife is off unto the 6th but they got an email today stating they are now expected to do certain things from home daily.

Problem with that. My kids have school work that was sent home in anticipation that needs to be completed as well. And we have one computer. And my desk is set up the way I want it. It is now completely rearranged for her. And her filthy right handed needs.

My 9 year old is going stir crazy and spring break is not even over yet. This is not going to be fun at all. I can already sense it. I was going to deep clean the living room and kitchen today. But I am not doing it with my wife working at the computer. I will get mad getting interrupted and she will get mad from the noise. It does not make for a good combination.

Forget war, famine, pestilence, and disease. This is what will destroy the world.

as a right hander, i feel i should be offended by this…but i’m too lazy at the moment to be offended, so i’ll have to take a rain check for the time being. :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually, given that WOW Classic is primarily working on patch 1.12 data, and it was fixed during the lifespan of vanilla (before Naxx was out, and Naxx was 1.11), most #nochange people are going to be fine with it. There will be the few who are not, but I don’t see Blizzard likely to deliberately go in and re-add the bug that they removed. (The bug was that dismissed pets with the disease remained carriers IIRC.)

Though I technically have one computer myself, I also have (in my room) a case from an old built computer that got cannibalized and a laptop that goes into freakout fan mode. And my brother has his work laptop, his main linux box, two windows boxes that guests (other brother and sister-in-law, sister and nephew) use when over, a dedicated server/firewall/etc linux box, a couple of raspberry pi level system (itty bitty low power).

EDIT: All to say, I have too many in this house, and if I could wish you an extra one, I would.

I realized today that our power bill is going to spike. (It’s going to spike for a lot of people working from home on computers, and they don’t realize it yet, while business offices may see a dip. Or not, if everyone working from home is linking in to a work computer, it may stay flat.)

Your house sounds like mine. We have 4 desktops, 3 laptops, one server. A bunch of raspberry pi’s (one is a robo call blocker, bless it’s little heart). A few tablets. Also closets full of parts. Husband is a real computer geek. I wish we could send one to Mast’s family too.

I should reach out to them and find out if I knew any of them.

I recall one of the raiders I’d played with was documenting and researching that plague as it occurred.

The Governor just shut down all public venues here in Texas til April 3rd. So no wargaming for me for a while. Meh, give me time to paint what I have.

Things are really exploding here in Michigan. There are already 104 cases in my county alone and three deaths so far. My sister works in a doctors office and the hospitals they are affiliated with are taking their supplies away bit by bit. They took all their virus test kits and keep asking how many masks and gowns they have. She expects they will take those too. :mask:

A number of medical shows have donated their masks, gloves, gowns, etc. from their props departments to hospitals near where they are filming.

My dad told me that a few people have managed to sneak in at shift change at his Walmart to try and buy stuff while it’s closed to customers.
