My LJ reached 21 years of age last week.
It was a bit before my time, we had regular phone numbers when I was a kidā¦ But we did have a local company that advertised on TV that had a jingle that included their name phone number GArfield 1-23-23. Still remember it lol.
My first text based game was Hitchhikers Guideā¦ Man that thing was hard. And then Zorkā¦ āYouāve been eaten by a Groo.ā

Wow, sometimes I feel like I was the only one who had one of those! Everyone that age knows the Amiga; the VIC20 not so much. I didnāt play Zork on it but I did write a version of Mastermind (the colored peg game) in BASIC on it. It did not come with any type of permanent storage; Mom had to go buy the cassette tape drive because of the fights over taking turns, when giving up your turn meant starting completely over next time.

Reminds me of the guy years ago though he was meeting a teen and turned out to be a cop. He was linked with world of warcraft too. All on video i believe.

I hate the weather forecast we have.
Monday night/Tuesday morning. Chance of heavy snow. May turn to heavy rain. Maybe more snow or rain. Depends on the path of the storm. Best bet is to look out the window I guess.

Hopefully you are not getting as cold as my place here is in the next week. Dropping to daytime highs of -18Ā°C (0Ā°F) by this Friday. Night time supposed to be closer to -25Ā°C (-13Ā°F) with windchills to -30Ā°C (-22Ā°F).
Got snow in the forecast here too. Currently under a Winter Storm Warning!
