@Crying Rogues

Sub HAS NEVER been a spec that has been about killing someone in a single dance borderline solo.

I feel like most of you have been spoiled from BFA brainlessness to Shadowlands broken gameplay with zero balance in between.

Sub gameplay should literally consist of mediocre pressure with good burst and control windows. Your damage in burst windows should maybe do 45% of someone’s HP.

Guess what, sub is still solid, just not face roll proof.

Edit: Check the forums for the first time in a while, see a million different posts of Rogues crying. So spoiled.

Exactly, Rogues are still strong just not monkey proof.

Every Rogue crying post just screams to me that they have zero experience outside of BFA and Slands.

Never even played Mage at all in BFA.

Even if fire mages are hella bursty at the moment, I’m still super happy they gave gpie a cd.

You mean Mages pressing 1 button all game isn’t fun and interactive?

Dude had the trinket from the raid, OFC he hit for a truckload when the thing is a 8k dmg button and he has multiple mythic 11 pieces meanwhile his big cd move shadowblades did less dmg than his covenant ability which does less dmg than a shadowstrike crit. Balancing a whole spec because of an OP trinket or leggo is dumb.

When literally all of them have that legendary, is it dumb?

Yeah, just nerf the leggo in pvp, how hard is that?

As hard as it is for Blizzard to nerf something correctly?

Yep saw the same thing. They only nerfed Rogues that only PvP in PvP. Just gotta get a PvE trinket and add it to your castsequence macro and voila you’re now back to doing 40k damage in 2 seconds. I honestly think the devs let Sub burst ride until these PvE trinkets became available then nerfed it enough so it equals back out once they get one.

Not sure about the 40k in 2 sec part as that SS only shows 25k dmg when you add up the rogue dmg.

apologize to wrath and cata pls.

Lol how did i know the “rogue damage.” would include a pve trinket.

That’s normal. Shadowblades currently does a % of the builders damage as shadow damage, so by definition shadow blades will always hit for low damage. Coincidentally the nerf to shadowblades is actually stupid if you consider this fact, and that shadowblades ALREADY double dips on mitigation. (E.G a 10k echoing reprimand would be a 3k shadowblades. Which isn’t 50%, which shadowblades previously read as 50%. so since shadow blades is already double dipping on mitigation, nerfing it is actually insane when you’ve already nerfed the builders.)

1 minute dance. might as well make shadow dance a passive now cuz u always have it.

The number is a ballpark (slight hyperbole) and I’m not specifically referring to that posters encounter. I personally witnessed a few hours ago a Rogue do 30k damage in 2 seconds to another Rogue he caught in stealth in a skirm. I just watched as he died in half a cheap shot while I was in camo on my hunter. I checked the damage after and 11k was from a PvE trinket lol.

My point isn’t 40k or 30k damge, but simply that Rogues can still destroy someone in a single cheap shot provided they have PvE trinkets. My greater point is that the devs nerfed the wrong things and basically just hit Rogues that use PvP trinkets in PvP while ones that start using PvE trinkets will be equal to where they were before the nerfs. Which to me is absolutely stupid and aggravating considering the whole uproar about vendors and a PvP trinket bonus was to ensure PvP gear is the best gear for PvP.

yeah. I miss it :frowning: and all the other stuff we had. honestly the cdr design is so disgusting. I can remember being thankful wow wasn’t like league because cdr was such a toxic concept. lol boy was I surprised to see what blizzard had in store.
