just deleted a horde hunter on Crusader Strike, not knowing the server is locked. It was my only character at lv 6, I was swapping ally to play with my other buddies and got locked out. Could I get an ally character or my horde back?
Its almost as if Blizzard didnt warn us about their plan for faction balancing.
If your concern is playing with friends how about ask those friends to switch to one of the new servers. That or wait the streamers will soon get bored and leave and all their simps will follow suit.
There are no queue’s in Chaos Bolt and since Crusade has been locked all day, Chaos Bolt has still sat on Medium. That’s the second lowest population lol. No one is moving off Crusade it seems. People are scared to be stuck on possible eventual dead servers. Almost every time they add another server that wasn’t at launch, it dies. Megaservers or bust.

Warning to all players on Crusader Strike. Do not delete your only character as you will then be locked out of the server. Tried to reroll to the other faction since more of my friends are on there only to realize I’m now locked out of the whole server.

Seriously, what is wrong with you people? I played on the HC streamer server with zero issues at all.
Yeah it is really dumb that they are locking the servers. My friend cannot join us on the server. That totally help other server like Skyfury on Wrath, totally didn’t kill the server since I was force to reroll to different server for friends.
I wouldn’t be hopeful of them unlocking this, unless other servers catch up in population. Even if the streamer population dies down, they’ll be back again for the next stage.
Sucks for anyone that missed out playing with their guild/friends.

Not sure but if you delete your characters to switch then you’re screwed.
Having zero characters locks you out of the server.

I would just like to know if I can or when I can play with my friends on the server?
I don’t see a point in playing on any other server without my friends because I have never logged into this game to play alone…?

I cut ties with my old friends and just made new ones.
I usually hate to be a contrarian but this is a story I like to tell.
People said the same thing on classic launch. I rolled stalagg with a lot of the other horde. Next morning, there was an 8 hour queue. While waiting I saw a couple new servers launched. Figuring some wow is better than no wow, I picked sulfuras, one of the day 2 realms.
The forums of course insist that waiting in queue for herod or stalagg is the smart choice because the new servers will be dead in a month or two and we’ll all have to reroll. Well, neither stalagg or herod survived classic but sulfuras did with a roughly 50/50 faction balance.

Didn’t even know this was a server stream realm. Hopefully you can unlock so server is faction balanced
Streamers on RP realms. Bad for the server.

tfw all your friends made char on that server and then when you can finally make a char, it’s locked and you are essentially left out of your friend group.
SoD ruined for me because streamer.

I really appreciate you guys keeping the servers healthy and avoiding mega ques. Is there anyway we could get the ability to transfer our characters off Crusader though? Our guild swapped over hoping we could transfer our characters since the paid server transfer acts like it’ll work. However once you get the last part where you select the server it doesn’t allow you to pick a new server. If not, could you guys please let us know that we won’t be allowed to transfer off of Crusader? I can’t speak for others but our guild all rolled alts assuming it would work. Thanks for going out of your way to avoid issues we saw with classic/tbc/wotlk!

Why would you delete your only character on a server that says it’s locked to new players? What exactly did you expect to happen here? I’m sorry you experienced this but like, yeah…
After conversing with my friends over the past couple hours whom are playing on Crusader Strike we have all agreed that they shall continue on their journey without me.
We know not when or if blizzard will unlock the server but we all agreed that it makes no sense for the majority (all of them) to suffer for the minority (1 of me).
The worst part is they’re all on Season of Discovery… Which means none can be on Retail… Which means I have no friends to play & I only play this game with & for my friends.
I didn’t foresee this O_O…
