I am new to classic Cata and just had a quick question. Are the dungeons cross server? For example if I am playing on atikesh will it put me in dungeons with pagle (us east)?

Yes. All Cata Classic servers queue into LFD together.
If thats true, the fact that im getting 1-2hr queues is pretty troubling… theres no way im queuing with any US pool with those waits
I doubt it very much, even off peak OCE queues are 15-30mins, and that’s a smaller pop than US.
What dungeon or level range is that 1hr queue for?
Random dungeon finder is cross-realm.
In retail, it’s prioritizing your shared region realm (eg OCE vs US realms or EU vs RU realms). I assume it’s the same in Classic as it uses the same tech/client. I just haven’t heard any confirmation from a dev yet.
If you are Oceanic, you only queue with the other oceanic realms. Thats why I rerolled to a US realm.

Tbh I forgot OCE existed when I said that. Elaboration in later posts is correct; OCE realms are on their own queue.
That has to deal with the number of Tanks and Healers more than it has to deal with the number of players. Which is nothing. The amount of players or lack there of is not currently effecting queue times.
85 @_@ and not even that late… midnight should still have a decent amount of ppl on but nope. usually an hour. might be better on the days that the valour cap increases, but not the rest of the week.
