Did they force you?
When you talk about enablement there’s two parties at fault. The guy that’s 1200 lbs can’t blame his condition solely on his wife.

Are you the analogies man? You come up with pointless and irrelevant analogies instead of arguing the issues at hand?
I mean…
They’ll let you skip the queue if you’re providing them free marketing.
You can test try this. Get like 200 people to follow one of you on Twitch. I think someone will reach out to you.
I was in a guild with a jerk streamer… she got beta passes etc for maybe 30 concurrent viewers.
It’s a video game; I’m going to prioritize the things that make the game as enjoyable as possible and leave the logistics up to Blizzard.
You’re acting like people have a responsibility to maintain server/system health. Nope! That’s Blizz’s job.
You didn’t heed the warning or 20 years of mmorpg history.
This is at least partly your fault. Blizzard can enable your stupidity, but in the end it’s on you.
There no analogies. Feel better?
So beta to them isn’t about testing the game but marketing it as a priority?
Considering how many bugs I’ve seen make it from beta, yes.
And yet you’d complain if you were one of the people who couldn’t play on Benediction.
This Blizz simp bit is getting old, anyone else wanna tag in?
Here’s my history of WoW classic:
-Try to roll on Whitemane day 1
-See queues are like they are now
-I have no friends playing WoW Classic, I don’t care. I join a new server Rattlegore which has no queues
-I make very good friends on this server that I play with several hours every single week and spend a lot of my freetime with
-Rattlegore dies last year because it was never a mega server
-All of my friends decide to transfer to Benediction because it’s a healthy server with no signs of dying anytime soon. I join Benediction as well to play with my friends.
-Fastforward to now I’m presented with the ultimatum of not playing with my friends and just solo questing on some server, or not playing with my friends and waiting in 12 hour queues
Why am I stupid here? You’re saying I’m dumb for not switching servers. I’m saying neither option is a good option and I’m simply not going to play if those are my only two options.
Apparently it’s your responsibility to bite the bullet so Blizz doesn’t have to. Idk
So all or most of your friends go to Benediction, but you can’t because Blizzard locks the server before it gets too big.
The other person arguing threw that out there as what Blizzard should have done.
You could have gone to Pagle.
I don’t see any RP-PVP servers listed as a destination.
Some ppl dont want to go to pagle tho being its marked as pve.
I was on Benediction long before it ever got too big. Rattlegore was one of the first servers to die. But, some others were forced to join much later. In that situation, yes, Blizzard should have given ample warning that the server was too big, and in X weeks they would be locking it. That would have given most people enough time to transfer over before the servers got way to big, or let people decide to transfer to a different server.
I’ll state this again. Give me the option to transfer to a server and then transfer back at a later date for free and I’ll take it. Blizzard won’t do this because they’re greedy. There’s zero reason why server transfers should cost any money when they’re willing to do it for free right now.
Yah had nothing with blizzards inability to monitor server population and accept money for transfers to realms that were already on the full side
Okay think this through. Free server transfers back and forth.
Half of Benediction leaves to play on other servers (that’s a ton of people). Same goes for Grobb and Faerlina.
That’s like a floating 50k to 70k people if not more. Do they open a whole new server for you guys? 3 servers? 0? Is Bloodsail Buccaneers in danger? What about server stability?
How do they do names? Guilds?
I mean it can work… but realize you may be Slippypoo468Ah3
This. Right. Here.
This is the crux of the problem. Everyone whining about queue times will scream from the hilltops that they have no faith in Blizzard, but when it comes right down to it, they’ll still sit idly by and try to convince themselves that Blizzard will save them from their own choices.
Is Blizzard a failure, or are they going to save you? Pick one.
You’re describing THE solution they’ve quite literally already offered us. We have free server transfers right now to several servers. All of the problems described in your post are problems we’re facing right now.
You’re basically saying it’s a good thing that the queues are so long so we don’t face all of the problems you just mentioned.
No the official response was they dont want to implement more servers and then have them die off in 3 months. The exact same thing you reference in blaming them about server populations.
So what do u want blizzard to do sir?
