Why should Blizzard take the L and spend the money to mitigate the issue?
I’m sure that’s what’s going on at some level. They probably think it’ll die down in a couple months so it’s wasted money.

can i blame the hurricane for me not being able to play? or do i have to blame blizzard for that too by obligation
That isn’t the same as preventing transfers. They should’ve prevented transfers once the server was full.
And/or given the boot to those that had obviously quit.
I’ve been on my server since day one of Classic. There were no warnings, because the server wasn’t full back then.
Because it’s their game? If they want to be a decent company, they’ll work harder to make sure things work smoothly. It was an error on their part to allow mega servers and it’s their mess to clean up.
Blizzard can fix this problem by offering free transfer backs to our home servers once the queues die down to more manageable wait times. Our only options right now are to abandon our communities and play on an unknown, possibly dying server or wait 12 hours in queues.
Preventing transfers has nothing to do with this. You knew the server was full, you’ve known for months, you’ve had free transfers for months, and you chose and are still choosing to not take them.
Grobbulus has been full for months and has had queues since Prepatch. That is ample enough warning but you chose to ignore it.

the queue that’s on bene right now is outweighed to me anyways by the longevity of bene so i’ll sit in it.
I was forced to move to Benediction last year when my server (Rattlegore) died. I wasn’t even given a choice because almost all of Rattlegore moved to Benediction.
Easier to sell consistency than decide 3/4 years into the game’s lifespan that players were wrong for buying the service you were selling them hand over fist. Set expectations and be consistent and suddenly it gets a lot easier to handle things

What they moved into a new server that has a queue now? Is it still their fault troll man?
Those new servers that have queues also have free transfers.
Blizzard enabled me to make the choice. If they were concerned about server health and locked the server, I wouldn’t have transferred over.
Sulferas’ queue is minor compared to the big 3.
If bobby could charge you money to skip the queue, he would.
