Please look into creating a matchmaking tool based off your io that you have forced into the game, I do not play a meta class and do not get invited to keys. This is all great to slow down people from leaving keys, but this in no way solves the issue with the community being reliant on tier lists to make their group forming decisions.
Sure, but it still works out in our favor. 17 ilevels for 90 crests which is a better ratio than 10 ilevels for 60 crests.

This is precisely the case. It costs as many gilded as it requires to go from hero 4 to myth x/x, ie the maximum amount you can spend on upgrades. My assumption is that this will be tied to either the achievement, or be exclusively for late-season changes because honestly, anything else would be absurd.
This is a good first step, but now the limiting factor will become Valorstones instead of crests, because their rate of acquisition and reward is also laughably insufficient for the time of content it takes to acquire them, and the high costs per 3 item levels to upgrade even just 1 item, especially weapons.
Why did developers never respond to the MULTIPLE community council threads discussing these issues during Dragonflight?

These are some nice changes but they’ve come way too late.
2-4 more crests is no where near enough. People used 8s to farm gilded crests and you haven’t even changed the amount for timed. Like what??

there are a lot of people doing mythic raid, there are around 10k guilds who kill mythic bosses every tier, conservatively over 200,000 players (not characters, actual people, human beings).
A failed dungeon shouldn’t give more than a cleared raid boss.
Stop upgrading things from 1/8 when you can literally get drops that reduce half the amount of upgrades required.
These are good changes, but I still don’t think there should be any difference between timed and untimed crests, unless they’re also willing to get rid of key depletion.
At least you can fully upgrade your gear from keys in less than 8 weeks.
All good changes, probably too late for me to resub, but they need to keep these changes for s2.

It was 60 for 3 upgrades of ilvl.
Then it was 90 for 5 upgrades of ilvl.
TWW’s crafting upgrades were better than they were in DF, and after this change it is now more cost efficient to make a crafted item than to upgrade a slot.
